DS3: How To Farm Proofs of a Concord Kept

Proofs of a Concord Kept are the rarest items in Dark Souls 3, but there’s still a few ways to find them:

  • Being summoned to a different world as a Blade of the Darkmoon (online method)
  • Farming Silver Knights in Anor Londo (offline method)
  • Picking them up in Irithyll and Anor Londo (offline method)

We’ll cover exactly how to carry out each of these methods down below.

Online Concord Farming

The intended way to receive Proofs of a Concord Kept is through a very finicky online feature that causes you to be summoned into another player’s world.

This feature is very hit or miss on consoles in 2022, and completely impossible on PC, where the Dark Souls 3 servers have been shut down.

Despite the feature’s glitchiness, this is still the method I recommend for Console players, due to its relative ease.

To be summoned as a Blade of the Darkmoon, you’ll first have to equip the Blade of the Darkmoon Pledge.

To find the Pledge, you’ll first have to join the Blades of the Darkmoon Covenant. You can find out how to do that with a different guide.

Once the Pledge is equipped, you’re playing a waiting game.

Head to the final area of Irithyll, right before the entrance to Anor Londo, and simply wait to be summoned.

You’ll probably be waiting a while for a summon due to the specific circumstances that another player has to experience for you to be called to help.

When a member of the Way of Blue Covenant is threatened by another player through an invasion, they’ll be aided by a Blade of The Darkmoon that is nearby.

With enough time, this will eventually be you.

Despite the tedium of just waiting around to be summoned, the idleness of this method at least allows you to do other things while the game is open. It beats the next method, at least.

When you do eventually get summoned, you’ll be tasked with defeating the red or purple phantom that has invaded the Way of Blue member’s world.

Defeat it before it kills the Host of Embers to claim your Proof of a Concord Kept.

Farming Silver Knights in Anor Londo

If you don’t mind an insane grind, you can also farm Proofs of a Concord Kept offline by farming Silver Knights in Anor Londo.

The drop rate here is insanely low, with a 1% chance to receive a Proof each time you kill a Knight.

If you want to finish farming in this lifetime, I strongly recommend you raise your item discovery stat to raise the chances of receiving a Proof.

For a guide on how to maximize this stat, check out our guide on how to speed up farming.

Once you’ve gathered as much item discovery-boosting gear as you can, warp to the Anor Londo Bonfire to get started.

From the Bonfire, simply walk up the staircase to find the targets of your farm, two Silver Knights.

Take out both of these Knights and loot their corpses to hopefully receive a Proof of a Concord Kept.

With both Silver Knights dead, rest at the Anor Londo Bonfire to respawn them for a new round of farming.

Finding Proofs in The Overworld

As well as farming for them, you can also find two Proofs of a Concord Kept in the overworld in each playthrough.

While just two Proofs isn’t going to make much of a dent in the 30 you’ll need to get the Darkmoon Blade Miracle, every little helps when it comes to items this rare.

Warp to the Church of Yorshka Bonfire to find the first.

Head forward from the Bonfire to see a corpse hunched over before an altar holding an item.

Interact with the corpse to pick up the first Proof of a Concord Kept.

The second Proof is found shortly after the Anor Londo Bonfire, so warp there to get started.

Head up the staircase and take out the two Silver Knights, then walk through the large archway to your left to continue towards the cathedral entrance.

Enter the cathedral through the doors ahead of you, then walk up the staircase until you reach the top and find yourself in the main cathedral hall.

From here, turn left and run down these steps towards the Deacons below.

Take out the Deacons on this platform, then look to your left to see a corpse slumped against the wall.

Interact with this corpse to obtain the second and final overworld Proof of a Concord Kept.
