The Rosaria’s Fingers Covenant is the most hidden in the game, found in a secret area of the Cathedral of The Deep.

We’ll show you exactly how to find Rosaria, so you can join her covenant and trade your Pale Tongues for some rewards.

Finding Rosaria

Before you can do anything with your Pale Tongues, you’ll need to meet Rosaria in her bedchamber at the top of the Cathedral of The Deep.

Warp to the Cleansing Chapel Bonfire to get started.

Opening The Shortcuts

The quickest way to Rosaria is through a shortcut to the left of the Cleansing Chapel Bonfire.

This door is actually the second shortcut in the Cathedral of The Deep – the other door next to the Bonfire is the first shortcut, so we’ll be unlocking that one first.

If you already have both doors unlocked, skip to the section titled ‘Climbing The Cathedral’ to find Rosaria.

If you already have the first shortcut unlocked, skip to the next section to find your way to unlocking the second.

If not, head out of the main door of the Chapel, then make a slight right turn to follow the path up and past a group of Exploding Hollows surrounding a monolith.

Once you’re at the top, you’ll find yourself at the entrance to a cemetery full of endlessly respawning Hollows.

Rather than stopping to fight them, sprint through the cemetery, running in a straight line until you reach a large opening full of hidden enemies.

Once you reach this large area, turn right and continue running until you hit the stone bridge that leads to the Cathedral.

Run past the worm-infested Hollows and try to avoid taking damage and becoming infected.

Once you’ve crossed the bridge, make a right to continue towards the Cathedral, and be wary of the Grave Warden that will come down the steps towards you.

Once you’ve killed the Grave Warden, climb the steps towards the massive doors at the front of the Cathedral, and turn right once you reach them.

From here on out, it’s important to clear out every enemy, as it’ll get extremely hard to progress with all of them chasing you.

Continue to the right of the large doors and walk down a small set of steps to reach a stone platform with a ramp to the left.

Walk down this narrow ramp until you reach the stone platform at its bottom, then turn left and walk up this second ramp until you reach the main rooftop area.

Up on the large slanted roof, turn right and walk past the stone platform to your right, continuing on until you see another large ramp to your right.

Head down this ramp, then turn around to look across this small stone courtyard to see a staircase that descends to a lower level.

Take this staircase down, then walk to the end of this pathway and climb the stairs up ahead.

On the platform at the top of the stairs you’ll be tasked with fighting two Grave Wardens at once – this is the one fight in this area that I recommend running away from.

Whether you kill the Grave Wardens or not, leave the platform via the next set of stairs, and continue forward until you see a large set of doors to your left.

Surprisingly, these doors can be opened, so interact with them to start an animation that will open them and make you invincible for its duration.

Once inside, turn left into the archway and walk down the stairs. From here on out, it’s safe to run past most enemy encounters again.

Turn right and run through the dining room, then look to your left to find a large wooden elevator.

Take the elevator down, then follow the corridor to its end and open the metal gate. Continue forward until you see a small staircase that leads to a door.

Open up this door to unlock the first Cleansing Chapel shortcut. Head inside and rest at the Bonfire to replenish your flasks for the next part of the journey.

Unlocking Shortcut 2

To unlock the second shortcut door, first head out of the first shortcut door on the other side of the room.

Turn left, walk through the metal gate, and onto the elevator at the end of the corridor.

After riding the elevator up, walk forward towards the arch ahead of you, and wait in the small section right after it.

Behind the railing ahead you’ll see a Giant kneeling on the ground below. As soon as you move to your right to continue through the area, the Giant will stand and begin to attack you.

Make sure you’re ready to run, and step out cautiously onto the pathway to your right. Your goal is the door on the opposite side of this pathway, across the pit that the Giant stands in.

As soon as the Giant sees you, get running and don’t stop.

You may still get hit, but if you do, get up as soon as possible and continue running.

Once you reach the archway at the end of the path, quickly step inside to safety.

Heal up and walk down both sets of stairs, then ignore the chest to your right – it’s a Mimic, a dangerous creature masquerading as a chest.

Turn left and head down another flight of stairs, then walk through the pews and towards the door at this room’s end.

Take out the large Knight here, then turn to the left side of the room and walk through the archway here.

At the top of the archway steps you’ll enter the main hall of the cathedral.

Run straight ahead across the watery middle section to the other side, then turn right once you hit the back wall.

On your left will be another archway, head through it, then follow the path down the stairs.

Open the metal gate and step through it, and follow the path around until you see a wooden door straight ahead.

Open it up to find yourself back in the Cleansing Chapel, with both shortcut doors now unlocked.

Climbing The Cathedral

With both shortcuts unlocked, you’re free to head straight to Rosaria.

Walk through the shortcut door in the back-left corner of the room, then head forward slightly until you see another wooden door to your left.

Open this door and take the elevator behind it. At the top, take out the Hollow and step out through the gap in the wall. Turn left and follow the path round to find a ladder.

Climb the ladder and take out the Deacon at the top, then slowly climb the crumbled pile of brick in the corner of the room.

At the top of the debris pile, look down to see a ramp below you.

Carefully roll off of this platform onto the ramp below, then walk up it until it meets with the pathways above.

Once the floor levels out, turn right and walk along this path, then take the first left into the main cathedral building.

After walking through a small corridor, you’ll find yourself on the rafters above the main hall.

Walk up to the first split in the path and look slightly down to see a platform below the rafters on the other side.

Once you’ve spotted the platform, run down the walkway to your left, then turn right when the path splits again.

Sprint to the end and quickly jump onto the platform below before the Knight here attacks you.

Once you’ve safely landed, heal up from the fall damage, then look over the edge of the platform to see a small wooden balcony below.

Drop down once again onto this balcony, then walk down onto the stone platform that the balcony is attached to.

Step onto this platform and take out the group of Man-Grubs ahead of you.

The staff-wielding Man-Grub at the back of the platform will drop the Red Eye Orb, an essential item for collecting the Pale Tongues you’ll need to level up in Rosaria’s Covenant.

Once all the Man-Grubs are dead, head through the archway towards the back of the platform to reach another platform full of Man-Grubs.

Wipe out the Man-grubs again, then head through the large doors to the right to enter Rosaria’s Bedchamber.
