How To Farm Friendship in Epic Seven

The quickest way to farm Friendship is by going into a Friendly Stage or Labyrinth, warping to a Waypoint, and exiting via the Clear Portal.

This method is time-consuming but is the most effective method to farm Friendship without wasting time or resources.

You can check the progress of your Hero’s Friendship by the small orange circle around them at the end of the run (once full, the Friendship level will increase).

This is how many individual runs it will take to max out a newly acquired zero Friendship level Hero.

In total, it will take 1500 runs of any stage to max our a Hero’s Friendship.

Tip: Make sure to equip a CE that boosts the Friendship EXP of the equipped Hero. Currently, the only CE that boosts Friendship is the limited four-star Artifact, Brilliant Confidence. The Artifact was given out to players who completed the 7-Day Check-in Event during Epic Seven’s third anniversary.

Other Methods of Farming Friendship

1. Regular Farming

If your only goal is to farm Friendship, the above method is the most effective.

However, you gain Friendship EXP by completing any stage / Automaton Tower / Hunt / etc in the game.

Because of this, Friendship EXP will naturally accrue just by doing your regular activities in-game.

Tip: You can sort by Friendship by selecting the tab in the upper right corner of the Hero inventory screen.

2. Friendship Gifts

Friendship Gifts can be given to Heroes to drastically increase their Friendship in no time at all.

This method is certainly the most effective way to increase Friendship, but isn’t sustainable. This is because Friendship Gifts are a limited resource.

The best way to acquire Friendship Gifts is via Side Story Currency Exchange shops.

Bonuses of Max Friendship

Unlike most other gacha games, there are some benefits aside from cosmetics that incentivize boosting your Heroes’ Friendship levels.

Expressions

The biggest reward for reaching higher Friendship levels with your Heroes is unlocking their full list of Expressions.

Most high-rarity Heroes will have a long list of Expressions, including multiple Special Expressions.

Low-rarity Heroes will often have only one Special Expression to unlock and far fewer Expressions available overall.

Note: Some Heroes that do not show their face have zero Expressions to unlock. Some of these Heroes include:

• Taranor Guard
• Taranor Royal Guard
• Dark Corvus
• Church of Ilryos Axe
• Chaos Sect Axe

Skill Enhances

Once a Hero reaches max Friendship, some of their early skill levels can be upgraded without the use of Molagora.

If the said Heroes’ skills are not at max level, the hero will have Skill Points that can be used to enhance skills.
