Where Do You Get Clear Spheres in FFX? (Farming Guide)

The only way to obtain Clear Spheres in FFX is by purchasing them for 10,000 gil each from the Monster Arena.
They become available to buy after you capture 5 of every fiend in Spira.
Note that this is the only way to obtain Clear Spheres in the game. Nothing drops them, nothing offers them as a bribe, and you won’t find any in treasure chests.
What Are Clear Spheres Used For?
Using a Clear Sphere completely empties a node on the Sphere Grid. This is crucial if you’re looking to max your stats.
You use a Clear Sphere to remove a stat node with a lower value (such as +2) and replace it with a +4 node (the maximum value).
You can also clear a node to replace it with a different stat entirely, all depending on what you’re trying to do.
And Rikku can also use Clear Spheres in her mixes. Here are a few of them worth checking out:
Final Phoenix (Phoenix Down + Clear Sphere): Revives all KO’d party members to full HP.
Super Mighty G (Chocobo Feather + Clear Sphere): Applies Protect, Shell, Haste, and Regen onto the party.
Tallboy (Blessed Gem + Clear Sphere): Deals a large amount of damage to all enemies.
Are Clear Spheres Worth Getting?
Only if you’re going after max stats, or are looking to defeat all the superbosses.
Clear Spheres are essential to getting the truly high stats required to be able to defeat these challenges.
But if you’re just out to beat the game and maybe do some side quests, then don’t worry about Clear Spheres.
They really are an item only meant for the hardcore Final Fantasy X players.
