The Wring Hands emote is unlocked after using the Ballroom Etiquette – Good Will Seeking item. This item is obtained from Zadnor Lockboxes.
Zadnor is the second zone unlocked as part of the “Save the Queen: Blades of Gunnhildr” storyline. This is an instanced zone like Eureka and the Bozjan Southern Front.
Skirmishes and Critical Engagements will pop up throughout the map and participating in them will reward you with the lockboxes. These battles function much like FATEs that occur in regular zones.
You can perform the emote by typing in /wringhands into your chat bar.
How To Access Zadnor
As mentioned earlier, Zadnor is unlocked while you’re progressing the “Save the Queen: Blades of Gunnhildr” line of quests. Playing through this series of side quests will also progress a level 80 relic weapon for a class of your choosing.
It will take a while before you can set foot in Zadnor, so here’s a quick step-by-step guide to get there:
- Complete the Level 70 Quest “The City of Lost Angels” (Return to Ivalice questline)
- Complete the Main Scenario Quest “Shadowbringers”
- Begin the Level 80 Quest “Hail to the Queen” from Keiten in Kugane (X:12.2, Y:12.3)
- Complete the Main Scenario Quest “Futures Rewritten”
- Continue to progress the Save the Queen storyline
- Clear Delubrum Reginae
- Complete the quest “Fit for a Queen”
- Complete the quest “A New Playing Field”
Once you get to Zadnor, you’ll learn that it works a lot like the Bozjan Southern Front. So you should be familiar with its mechanics at this point.
After unlocking Zadnor, you can return to the area at any time by speaking with Sjeros in Gangos (X:5.5, Y:5.4).
Unlocking Zadnor Lockboxes
To unlock Zadnor Lockboxes, you’ll need the help of a Resistance Locksmith. This NPC is found in Camp Vrdelnis at Zadnor (X:34.8, Y:34.2).
There are a lot of different items you can obtain from lockboxes including house furnishings, chocobo bardings, glamour items, and materia. Of course, you could also get the Wring Hands emote as well!
But what you get is totally random, so it might take a while before you get the emote.
