The first one is the Content Shop, which sells items that you can purchase with currencies that you can farm within the game.
The second shop is the Cash Shop, which mainly features items that can only be bought with either premium currency (Gems/Paid Gems) or IRL money.
In this guide I’m going to show you every item that’s worth buying both in the Content Shop (F2P-friendly) and Cash Shop (P2W-friendly).
Best Items From Each Content Shop (F2P Items)
Listed below are the items that you should prioritize in each section of the Content Shop:
- General Shop
- Union Shop
- Body Label Shop
- Arena Shop
- Mileage Shop
- Recycling Shop
Most of the items you can buy in these shops can be purchased with in-game farmable currencies such as Credits, Free Gems, Arena Tickets, or Broken Cores.
General Shop
Required Currency: Credits & Gems
How To Acquire: Farm the Campaign, Events, Missions, & Outpost Defense
Here are the items that I recommend you prioritize buying from the General Shop:
Recommended General Shop Items | Cost | Purchase Limit |
---|---|---|
Random Free Items | 0 Gems | 1 per day |
Battle Data Sets | 300K Credits | 1 per day |
You can also buy some equipment with Gems here. I highly recommend not doing that, since you’ll be able to farm lots of equipment from other sources.
This shop refreshes daily, but you can refresh the stock by spending Gems. I also dissuade players from doing this – especially if they haven’t yet reached Infrastructure Core Level 11.
Union Shop
Required Currency: Union Chips
How To Acquire: Participate in Guild-related activities
The Union Shop offers only two types of items:
- Spare Bodies for Liberation units (Guilty, Sin, & Quency)
- Harmony Cube Batteries
The Spare Bodies might be tempting to look at, but I highly recommend you prioritize buying the Harmony Cube Batteries – especially if you’re a beginner F2P player!
Body Label Shop
Required Currency: Body Labels
How To Acquire: Pull duplicate units via Recruit or Molds
If you’re a F2P player, the only item I recommend you buy from this shop is the x5 High-Quality Molds which cost 1,200 Body Labels each.
This’ll allow you to potentially pull more SSR units or to even Limit Break them with their dupes.
Feel free to buy some consoles if you don’t mind losing out on Mold pulls though – especially if you already have enough Gems or Paid Gems to pull the units you want in Recruit banners.
Arena Shop
Required Currency: Arena Exchange Voucher
How To Acquire: Participate in Arena battles and obtain a rank
Here are the items that I recommend you buy regularly in the Arena Shop:
Recommended Arena Shop Items | Cost | Purchase Limit |
---|---|---|
H.S.T.A. Code Manual x3 | 1,200 Arena Exchange Vouchers | 1 per day |
H.S.T.A. Code Manual x3 | 1,200 Arena Exchange Vouchers | 1 per day |
Z.E.U.S. Code Manual x3 | 1,200 Arena Exchange Vouchers | 1 per day |
Code Manual Selection Box x3 | 1,600 Arena Exchange Vouchers | 1 per day |
Any shop item other than the equipment pieces is worth buying, since there are much better sources of gear anyway.
Remember this as a general rule for the Content Shop – leave the equipment alone!
Mileage Shop
Required Currency: Mileage Tickets (Gold & Silver)
How To Acquire: Pull in Rate-up Event Recruit Banners (Gold) & Normal Recruit Banners (Silver)
Next, we have the Mileage shop which sells Nikke for 200 Gold Mileage Tickets and Spare Bodies for 200 Silver Mileage Tickets.
This shop can be considered the “Pity Shop”, since it rewards you for all the Gems you’ve spent (and most likely wasted) chasing SSR units in the gacha. Feel free to pick up any shop item you need here.
The units being sold in this shop are the featured Nikke in any ongoing Event Recruit Banners, while the Spare Bodies being sold here are rotational and are changed every shop reset.
Recycling Shop
Required Currency: Broken Cores
How To Acquire: Participate in Co-op game modes
The Recycling Shop is arguably the best shop for F2P players, as it offers a few of the most useful farmable items in the game.
Here are the items that I recommend you prioritize buying above all the other items in the Recycling Shop:
Recommended Recycling Shop Items | Cost | Purchase Limit |
---|---|---|
Gems x50 | 500 Broken Cores | 5 per day |
Credits x100k | 100 Broken Cores | 5 per day |
Core Dust Set (2H) | 575 Broken Cores | 5 per day |
Battle Data Set (2H) | 575 Broken Cores | 5 per day |
Credit Set (2H) | 180 Broken Cores | 10 per day |
Best Cash Shop Items
The Cash Shop is where minnows (light spenders), dolphins (moderate spenders), and whales (heavy spenders) all get together to git gud – all while supporting the game financially.
A wise man once said that all Cash Shop items are of great value as long as you have enough money in the bank.
But for those of you who’d like to spend your hard-earned money only on the most cost-effective items in the Shop, here are four items that I recommend you pick up:
Most Cost-effective Cash Shop Items | Approximate Cost | Purchase Limit | Resources Given |
---|---|---|---|
Campaign Package I | $20 | 1 per account |
|
30-Day Supply | $5 | 1 per month |
|
Mission Pass | $20 | 1 per month |
|
New Commander Call-Up Pack | $5 | 1 per account |
|
As for limited-time Cash Shops that come and go whenever there’s a new Event being held, feel free to purchase whatever item or pack you like as long as it fits your budget.
But if you only want the ones that are a bang for your buck, I advise you just stick with Limited-time Cash Shop items that give you Gems, Recruit Vouchers, Advanced Recruit Vouchers, or Molds.
