The Best Coven Skins in LoL (All Ranked)

Since its visual rework back in 2014, the Summoner’s Rift has become a colorful place bumbling with life – from blooming flowers to cute butterflies that flutter across your screen.

While this tranquil look was likely implemented to help players stay tiltproof, it doesn’t exactly give off the badass vibe you want to have when you’re massacring enemies left, right and center.

So what better way to bring the Rift back into darkness than by picking up a Coven skin?

This skin line is pretty much an ode to the occult, featuring satanic rituals, demons, and all-round witchiness.

And we’ve ranked all the coven skins based on how much they’ll cast a spell on your heart.

Time to get your inner witch on!

11. Coven Ahri

Released: August 12th, 2021
Price: 1350 RP

First up, Coven Ahri.

Coven Ahri is the definition of a badass witch, with tails imbued with dark, hellish energy and a skull-powered weapon.

Particle effects are slick and further add to her occult vibe.

Her Q creates a satanic circle, black mist swarms around her, and her ultimate ability summons up bats – you can’t get more witchy than that.

Sadly, the skin is let down by Ahri’s charm animation.

Riot left Ahri’s heart in its full, obtrusively pink and kawaii glory; far from the badass vibe the rest of the skin gives off.

It just sticks out horribly and ruins the whole thematic.

But still, if you’re after a badass Ahri skin?

Coven Ahri is the best you’re going to get.

10. Coven Cassiopeia

Released: August 12th, 2021
Price: 1350 RP

Coven Cassiopea rocks the femme fatale look in literally every way possible.

Her outfit is utterly gorgeous and even her tail has been given a sleek makeover, adorned with silver ornamental armor.

This skin is also packed with thoughtful touches that really add to the overall look.

For example, in her recall she relaxes among a circle of roses – befitting since they’re also beautiful but deadly.

Plus, her voice has been given a ghoulish filter, which makes her cackle and iconic voice lines like “do not tempt a viper” all the more menacing.

While by far one of Cass’s best skins, I’m a little disappointed in the animations.

They don’t really stand out, in my opinion.

I would have liked a little more creativity, especially for her Q ability, which is basically just a purple recolor.

9. Coven LeBlanc Prestige Edition

Released: April 16th, 2020
Price: 100 Prestige Points

The Prestige Edition of Coven Leblanc (listed below) basically buffs up her shininess, sparkliness, and magic.

Her feathers have been dipped in gold, and her outfit has been given a shiny sheen and “glow up” fit for the red carpet.

The splash art is absolutely beautiful too, capturing both the light and darkness within LeBlanc.

The only reason why LeBlanc Prestige isn’t higher up on this list?

The new style kind of takes away her witchy elements.

While it’s still a top tier skin, it kind of reminds me more of a fairy or elf than a witch.

8. Coven Zyra

Released: April 16th, 2020
Price: 1350 RP

Coven Zyra is yet another skin that has mixed the themes of sexiness, deadliness, and witchiness into one beautiful concoction.

The skin features a witchy outfit with dark feathers and ethereal gold armor.

Zyra’s plants have also been turned into demonic bird familiars, allowing you to (quite literally) peck away at your enemy’s health bar.

A pretty cool aspect of her skin design is the magical pair of whips, which coil around her arms (and follow her every command).

Sadly, she doesn’t actually auto-attack with the whips – a missed opportunity – but her attacks are still witchy, with haunted roots, dark flowers, and dark purple shades.

7. Coven Ashe

Released: August 12th, 2021
Price: 1350 RP

This skin turns Ashe into a battle-hardened witch, sporting a crown made out of thorns, a mystical cape, and a demonic bow that glows whenever you attack.

Particle effects are clear and smooth and bursting with dark energy.

Plus the recall is also mesmerizing to watch; Ashe performs a summoning ritual, pledges her allegiance to a demon, and corrupted energy spreads throughout her.

Unfortunately, Ashe’s clunky base model does hinder this skin’s potential.

If it was a legendary skin, where Riot updated her attack animations?

We’d be looking at a god tier skin.

That said, the splash art is absolutely gorgeous and sure to leave you spellbound.

6. Coven Camille

Released: November 27th, 2018
Price: 1350 RP

Slicing her way into this spot is Coven Camille.

Coven Camille brags the most original design out of all the skins; it sets itself apart with a tight-fitting suit of armor and a dark brown palette.

While the skin doesn’t give off traditional “occult” vibes, it still looks badass and turns Camille into an evil empress of sorts.

She even has a Loki-like helmet and black lipstick.

Coven Camille’s abilities also let you feel like a genuine demon while playing.

Each attack is tainted with dark magic, her ult is essentially a ritual circle, and her back animation transforms her into a horde of crows.

5. Coven Zyra Prestige Edition

Released: April 16th, 2020
Price: 100 Prestige Points

The Prestige Edition is a huge upgrade, turning Zyra from a sexy warrior witch into a total goddess.

Her familiars have been transformed into golden birds with feathered wings, and her dark, misty aura has been swapped out for sparkles.

Animations have an ombre filter.

While the skin is gorgeous overall, I still find it has the same problem as the other Prestige skin in this line.

It just abandons the dark witchy aesthetic a little too much for my liking.

4. Coven LeBlanc

Released: April 16th, 2020
Price: 1350 RP

I swear Riot Games have used magical potions to concoct up Coven LeBlanc – the skin is captivating in every way possible.

She has a slick red outfit, gorgeous wings, and a magical staff imbued with glowing dark energy (which she rides like a broomstick).

Her animations are frills-galore too, with black feathers, well-defined chains, tons of sigils, and even crows that fly across the screen.

To top it all off, the recall is super creative; LeBlanc summons a magical, witchy mirror with a demon inside. Total Snow White vibes.

I hope for her enemies’ sake it tells her she’s the fairest of the land.

3. Coven Lissandra

Released: November 27th, 2018
Price: 1350 RP

Lissandra is literally a witch.

So I had high expectations when Riot announced they were upping her witch game.

Luckily, they delivered on all fronts.

Coven Lissandra is a visual occult treat.

She looks like an omnipotent sorceress, with a mystical dress and headdress worthy of any high-class fashion show.

Her animations have also been imbued with magic; smooth, beautiful, and a whole lot of witchiness, from crows to mist, to withering roses.

What makes the skin worthy of this spot, though?

The fact that she can actually encase herself in a Hades statue with her ultimate.

Yep. Totally badass.

2. Coven Morgana

Released: April 16th, 2020
Price: 1820 RP

We’ve had witches, demons, majestic sorcerers, and evil empresses – so how about vampires?

This skin transforms Morgana into a badass vampire who’s ready to drain the life out of her opponents (with her neverending stun, of course).

She even has a pair of blood red wings to finish off her vampiric look.

Despite how much Coven Morgana will hate me saying this, her attack animations feel like heaven.

Landing your abilities, especially the Q, feels so satisfying, and the particle effects immerse you completely in the dark aesthetic, with withering roses, black mist, and sigils.

And if that hasn’t won you over, just check out the splash art.

It’s genuinely poster material.

1. Coven Evelynn

Released: August 12th, 2021
Price: 1820 RP

Combine a succubus with the occult, and you get a killer (and utterly sexy) combo.

Coven Evelynn is fanservice galore – and she knows it and owns it.

Everything about the skin feels perfect, from her dance emote that manages to somehow be creepy yet seductive, to her snake-like lashers which brim with personality (and deadliness).

Plus she can transform into a badass demon – you seriously wouldn’t want to wake up to this form in the morning.

Her animations are equally impressive (and magical), with every attack feeling polished and smooth. Visual clarity is particularly great.

To top it all off, her R also feels extremely impactful.

It shrouds your entire screen in witchiness and bloodiness.

And of course, you can’t forget the haunting new voice lines (packed with witchy jokes), including: “My tongue is skilled at more than incantation” and “I use every part of the body. For magic of course.

Truly, Coven Evelynn will bewitch you in more ways than one.
