Let’s be real: dragons are the most badass mythological creatures in existence.

Nothing will EVER top a fire-breathing, flying serpent that towers above mountains and devastates cities in seconds.

I mean, there’s a reason why they’re featured in virtually every iconic fantasy franchise – Game of Thrones, LOTR, How to Train Your Dragon, to name a few.

So, why not harness the power of dragons for yourself?

11. Duality Dragon Volibear

Released: October 21st, 2021
Price: 1350 RP

Duality Dragon Volibear is an okay skin overall, but it suffers from one major problem: it doesn’t live up to the “duality” theme.

In fact, it actually delivers the opposite of duality.

Everything feels clean and orderly, from the character model and recall, to the animations and sound effects.

But hey, at least the ultimate makes you feel like a Norse God.

10. Eternal Dragon Brand

Released: October 1st, 2020
Price: 1350 RP

Right. I’m not denying that this skin makes Brand look like a total badass, but I’m personally not a fan of it.

It humanizes Brand a bit too much for my liking, and the color palette is just, well, purple.

I would have liked a few more colors thrown into the mix.

But that’s really the only complaints I have – the animations are outstanding and are sure to set alight any Brand main’s heart.

Plus, the recall is a total showstopper: you summon up a dragon and absorb its power.

And yes, it does make you feel like an OP antagonist from a shonen anime.

9. Tranquility Dragon Karma

Released: October 21st, 2021
Price: 1350 RP

Tranquility Dragon Karma is a solid, all-round skin.

The outfit makes you look like a total queen, everything feels slick and powerful, and your animations have received a mythical glow up.

Your recall also lets you perform a Voltron move, but with dragons.

Now, my main gripe with Tranquility Dragon Karma is that it could easily fall under a different skin line.

Apart from the recall, there isn’t really anything else that screams “dragonmancer.”

But hey, if you’re looking for a magical skin that’s not too flashy with the fire-breathing, sharp teeth kind of aesthetic?

It delivers on all fronts.

8. Obsidian Dragon Sett

Released: October 1st, 2020
Price: 1350 RP

In this skin, Sett ditches the anime protagonist look and opts for something a little more… ferocious and, well, scaly.

Dragon tattoos, horns, fiery gauntlets – everything in this skin makes you feel fierce and powerful.

Sure, the colors are a bit dull and lackluster, but the actual character model design makes up more than enough for this. And you just have to feast your eyes on the animations to know why this skin is top tier.

The W even lets you burn the Rift to a crisp.

Oh, and your ultimate is literally groundbreaking and practically transforms you into a fiery dragon.

Now, this skin does have a Prestige version, but to be honest, it’s a bit of a letdown. It doesn’t really stand out and it loses a lot of the dragonmancer vibe.

With that said, it does give the ult some extra (and much-appreciated) oomph.

7. Steel Dragon Thresh

Released: October 21st, 2021
Price: 1350 RP

This skin blends together the steampunk aesthetic with dragons, and the end result looks totally badass.

The fearsome character model suits Thresh’s inner soul, and it has tons of nifty touches, like the dragon claws, fiery-green aura, and edgy mask.

The animations are badass too, with your ultimate being a literal wall of dragons.

Where this skin really wins me over though is its sound effects.

The growls, clashes, roars – the sounds immerse you completely in the dragonmancer theme.

6. Fae Dragon Ashe

Released: October 1st, 2020
Price: 1350 RP

This skin takes the dragon theme to the next level; she looks exactly as you would expect a fae dragon in human form to look.

Her attire is bursting with dragon attributes, fantasy elements, and extravagant details, and the colors complement Ashe beautifully.

The particle effects are also impressive and take the dragonmancer theme even further.

The E is now a baby dragon that scouts out the map for you, and two spirit dragons circle around your ultimate arrow.

Everything about this skin feels satisfying, and it comes with plenty of nifty chromas (all equally awesome).

5. Lagoon Dragon Kai’Sa

Released: October 21st, 2021
Price: 1350 RP

Riot dived deep for inspiration for this skin, and it paid off: it’s honestly legendary material.

It essentially transforms Kai’Sa into the human version of the Ocean Drake.

Sure, it won’t be buffing your health bar any time soon, but it does buff Kai’Sa’s appearance by tenfold.

Her shoulder pads have been transformed into two badass dragons, and her armor is packed with detail, dragon symbols, and mystical scales.

Her hair has even been given a killer, aquatic look.

Abilities also play up to the water dragon theme, and are sure to help you make a splash in your ranked games.

Oh, and the recall is the definition of zen.

4. Duality Dragon Volibear Prestige Edition

Released: October 21st, 2021
Price: 125 Mythic Essence

I typically don’t give Prestige skins their own separate ranking; usually, all they really do is add gold and sparkles.

But Duality Dragon Volibear Prestige is a whole other beast.

It genuinely doesn’t look like the same skin, and it honestly blows the original design out of the water in every way possible.

Animations feel more impactful and distinct, and the character model truly captures the duality theme, showing an artistic but chaotic clash between lightness and darkness.

Even the back plate has received a stunning upgrade.

3. Storm Dragon Aurelion Sol

Released: October 1st, 2020
Price: 1350 RP

Coming in at 3rd place is none other than Ao Shin – ahem, sorry, Storm Dragon Aurelion Sol.

Aside from tugging on our heartstrings – RIP Ao Shin – this skin looks and feels outstanding.

Aurelion Sol now boasts lightning-powered horns, stunning gold armor, and a mysterious, translucent body.

Animations are smooth and clear, and every attack makes you feel like you’re the dragon equivalent of Thor.

The skin also has plenty of chromas to explore.

I’m not always a fan of chromas – they’re a bit of a cash grab – but these chromas are definitely worth the buck.

Each one actually adds some unique markings, among other qualities.

2. Truth / Dream Dragon Yasuo

Released: October 21st, 2021
Price: 1820 RP

I thought nothing would ever top Spirit Blossom Yasuo. The skin just felt and looked too good.

But boy, did Riot prove me wrong.

The Truth and Dream Dragon skins are utterly jawdropping.

The character models nail the dragonmancer theme from head to toe, and they’re overloaded with intricate details and textures.

The animations are just as stunning – the windwall is made out of scales, the ultimate gives you a Super Saiyan glow up, and the Q has a dragon swirling around it.

Even the sound effects are top notch.

I personally prefer Dream Dragon’s purple, eerie hues, but the Truth skin is ideal for those after something more traditional (iconic dragon colors like green, brown, and gold).

1. Storm Dragon Lee Sin

Released: October 1st, 2020
Price: 1820 RP

Storm Dragon Lee Sin is featured in our list of best LoL skins for a reason.

It makes you feel like the god of dragons and the Rift itself (move over, God Fist Lee Sin).

It’s flashy to the max and packed with phenomenal particle effects and animations.

Your auto-attacks are ultra-smooth and clean to the point they actually level up your gameplay, and every ability is impactful.

Plus, the emotes and taunt are downright hilarious (and who can forget about that iconic dance?).

Your ears are even blessed with killer sound effects and these badass voicelines:

“I strike with a force of a thousand winds.”

“I scaled the mountain to prove myself worthy. At the top, I became the tempest.”

There are heaps of other amazing things about this skin – way too many to cover here – so I recommend just buying it and experiencing it for yourself.

Trust me. You won’t regret it.
