Customizable mounts are always a surefire way to drain my wallet, regardless of the game. And in League of Legends no one does it better than Sejuani.

With a handful of skins in her lineup, you can make Bristle go from hog to bear to pig in no time!

But which Sejuani skin should you get? That’s what I’ll try to answer here as we look over her entire skin library rank all of them from worst to best.

11. Darkrider Sejuani

Released: January 17th, 2012
Price: 975 RP

I’m always a fan of skins that turn an evil character good (or vice versa). But this one is asking a bit too much for what it’s bringing to the table.

Yes, you do look quite evil. And both you and Bristle are sporting some dark armor complete with skull shoulder pads. But that’s really all there is to this skin.

Compared to the others which will completely change your appearance (and Bristle’s appearance), this skin just came off as lazy.

And the fact that there are also no new animations or particles only furthers that feeling.

The splash art is pretty cool, but 975 RP is too much for such a simple skin.

10. Sabretusk Sejuani

Released: January 17th, 2012
Price: 975 RP

Sabretusk Sejuani feels like Sejuani after global warming.

She’s still a fierce warrior, but she’s wearing a lot less clothes. And her ice mace is now a wooden club, while Bristle has lost the white/blue fur and adopted a more grizzly appearance.

All of that being said, this skin does still use the base animations and particles – meaning you’re still controlling ice even while being half naked.

I think it’s a pretty cool direction to take with Sejuani. But when the character model feels at odds with their own abilities, that’s not a good sign.

9. Traditional Sejuani

Released: April 30th, 2013
Price: 975 RP

Traditional skins are always super niche, as they completely rely on your nostalgia factor.

I think we can all agree that this character model objectively looks worse than the base, due to way less polish. But some people just really miss the feel of old Sejuani.

And while this skin doesn’t offer any new animations or particles, it does give you a completely new voice-over, one that’ll make a lot of the veteran Sejuani players quite happy.

All in all, I think 975 RP is way too steep for what this skin brings to the table. But I can still see how certain players would love it to death, so I can’t hate on it too much.

8. PROJECT: Sejuani

Released: May 27th, 2021
Price: 1350 RP

PROJECT: Sejuani is bound to ruffle some feathers. But I have to stick to my guns.

Yes, if you’re looking for the most polished skin, this is it.

However, I also think it’s among the least imaginative skins of the bunch.

It just looks and feels like the most generic PROJECT skin ever, to the point where I wouldn’t recognize Sejuani or Bristle if it wasn’t for their character model – and the fact that she’s riding him.

The animations are likewise all just high-tech hologram mumbo jumbo, which doesn’t make a lot of sense when taking Sejuani into consideration.

How is she attacking you with a hologram mace?

Personal opinion alert, I just do not vibe with this skin. But I will recognize that it is very polished and clean.

7. Sejuani Dawnchaser

Released: November 17th, 2017
Price: 750 RP

Sejuani Dawnchaser sort of feels like a hidden gem.

I’ve never seen someone actually use it in-game, even though it is pretty dope.

I mean, you’re riding a literal lion! Can it really get more badass than that?

Plus, your passive being up turns his mane blue – and it’s honestly one of my favorite telegraphs in her lineup.

Even Sejuani herself looks quite dapper as she rocks that elf look like it was nobody’s business.

So if I love the skin so much, why is it this low in the ranking?

Well, because even though I love the lion design, his character outline feels weird. He’s not the usual chunky boy we’re used to seeing.

That might seem like quite the nitpick. But really, it does make Sejuani feel less tanky in return, which is an important aspect to her design.

6. Hextech Sejuani

Released: March 5th, 2020
Price: 10 Gemstones

Hextech skins never do that well on my lists because of how expensive they are.

But I have to say, this one felt like quite the pleasant surprise.

It honestly feels like what PROJECT should have been, as it introduces a more modern/futuristic feel to the champion, while still keeping parts of their original design intact.

Both Sejuani and Bristle look like themselves, just swagged out.

Plus the new animations and particles make a lot more sense, as they lean towards gem magic and not just holograms.

The splash art is really good here too, and the new backing animation is solid. Really the skin as a whole feels nice. It’s still overpriced though.

5. Beast Hunter Sejuani

Released: February 4th, 2016
Price: 750 RP

This is probably the most MMO-feeling skin Sejuani has – and I absolutely love it.

Sejuani’s new armor just makes her look so fierce. And the horn on her forehead makes her feel like a barbaric overlord.

Plus, Bristle now also has a horn on his forehead, so you’re basically matching.

Speaking of Bristle, man did Riot go all-out for his design here.

Being something between a dinosaur, a demon, and a beetle, Beast Hunter really makes him looks quite unique and quite dangerous.

In terms of new particles and animations, not much was done here (if anything). But I can’t say that I mind it all that much.

I don’t even know what Bristle is at the moment, so Sejuani controlling ice is the least of my worries.

Overall, this is a solid and cheap skin that really goes outside of the box.

4. Bear Cavalry Sejuani

Released: July 31st, 2013
Price: 1350 RP

Let’s be honest here:

This is a must-have for any Slavic person on earth.

Not only are you riding a mechanically enforced bear, but you even get to squat dance in your recall animation! I’m honestly surprised it doesn’t also change your healing potions into vodka to really complete the set.

Jokes aside, Bear Cavalry Sejuani is pretty amazing overall. And it’s probably a lot of people’s favorites out of pure patriotism. But I have to say that the particles are a bit disappointing.

They’re basically just recolors of the original, meaning that you’re now stunning people with brown ice, and that just feels gross… still pretty cool though!

3. Solar Eclipse Sejuani

Released: April 28th, 2022
Price: 1350 RP

Although I really can’t understand why Sejuani is in this skin line, I’m very glad that she is.

First off, the splash art and character model are jaw-dropping. Having Bristle be a wingless Gryphon is just beyond cool. And your armor is nothing short of amazing.

The backing animation, although simple, is also very well-made. And some of the abilities are just astonishing.

The passive mark for this skin is one of the best in my opinion and the E stacks being runes just really tie the whole skin together. The skin also comes with eight chromas, and while they won’t really blow you away, I’m glad that the color of your weapon changes with each one.

All that said, the only complaint I do have is the E stun. Just like with the previous pick, you get a dose of brown ice. And it just doesn’t work at all.

Maybe if they put some runes on top, it wouldn’t be as gross – but no luck in that department.

Overall, the skin is really good. In fact, if you’re looking for a more serious skin to rock the Rift with, this is your best bet. I say this because the following skins are definitely on the goofier side of things.

2. Firecracker Sejuani

Released: January 28th, 2019
Price: 1350 RP

You’re riding around on a giant pig wearing gold armor. What more is there to say?

Well, except maybe that with this skin you also attack people with a firecracker flail… and that you stun them by just throwing money at their feet.

I don’t know how well this is coming across through text, but I love everything about this skin.

It goes in such a weird direction – and yet somehow it still manages to feel grounded and realistic. So you get the best of both worlds.

Also, it’s among the very few skins that actually tinkered with Sejuani’s particles aside from just recoloring them, which is also quite the plus.

Lastly, that recall animation is absolutely adorable.

Overall this is a phenomenal skin that’s worth every penny.

1. Poro Rider Sejuani

Released: December 15th, 2014
Price: 975 RP

As a proud Aram veteran, Poro Rider Sejuani is objectively just the best for me.

What’s cuter than a giant pig? A giant Poro.

How do you make Sejauni equally as adorable? Slap her into some winter clothes and give her a Poro snack weapon. It all works out perfectly!

Plus, that new recall animation is so adorable that the enemy probably wouldn’t even want to stop you, just so they can go “aww” for as long as possible.

Even putting cuteness aside, this skin just oddly fits Sejuani.

Poros are one of the most recognizable parts of League. And they’re always associated with winter, so having Sejuani riding one makes sense.

And on top of all that, Poro Rider is only 975 RP.

This is truly an adorable and satisfying skin with a reasonable price tag – and it gets the key to my heart.
