It’s time to whip out that AP Yasuo and crit Amumu, because we’re talking about trolls.

The king of trolls, to be more precise.

Although Trundle isn’t all that flashy of a character, it can be quite fun pounding people to death with a club, or blocking off your friend as he mercilessly pings you.

And just because the champion kit isn’t all that flashy, doesn’t mean we can’t get some good cosmetics to stand out.

Let’s dig into Trundle’s skins and rank them all based on their appeal and total price tag.

6. Constable Trundle

Released: November 28th, 2014
Price: 750 RP

This is a skin that can look pretty neat if you and a group of friends all chose the same skin line, but it doesn’t do much on its own.

Because it’s not funny enough as a troll skin, and not badass enough as a flashy skin.

Having the E be a traffic cone was an excellent choice – but the fact that you still summon that frost field with your W makes the whole theme fall apart.

It’s not all that expensive.

But then again, it isn’t alone in that regard, so not enough brownie points to bump it up from last place.

5. Worldbreaker Trundle

Released: November 10th, 2016
Price: 750 RP

Although this skin does not live up to a name as badass as “Worldbreaker”, it’s still pretty damn nice.

The design for the base model goes into quite an interest direction, making Trundle look like an ancient guardian protecting a temple or something of that nature.

His club is very well-designed – and I do have to say that I love the head piece.

His Q, W, and R animations are all the same like in the base skin.

But since this skin is very blue and icey, it works out, while his E just features a really cool frozen spike.

Overall Worldbreaker Trundle is a very cool skin, only weighed down by the fact that I feel some other skins have more interesting themes and looks.

4. Junkyard Trundle

Released: December 1st, 2010
Price: 750 RP

I’m a big fan of the Fallout franchise.

So this skin was an immediate guilty pleasure.

Although I’ll never forget the absolute horror known as the original splash art for this skin, I have to say that I love the design.

He looks like a true scavenger, with bits and pieces of different armor sets covering his body, and even his E being a literal pile of junk.

This type of aesthetic just works so well with his character, that you can literally feel the apocalypse creeping up.

Also, who doesn’t love a mohawk?

Instant badass points right there.

3. Lil’ Slugger Trundle

Released: December 1st, 2010
Price: 520 RP

Although this skin feels like it should be in line with Constable Trundle, it just isn’t.

I can’t really explain why, but the picture of Trundle going into professional baseball and just beating everyone to death with a baseball bat makes me laugh like a Japanese schoolgirl.

The splash art is just perfect.

And the in-game model completely delivers when it comes to my fantasy massacre fantasies.

I will say that it’s off-putting that his Q, W, and R are still very ice themed, as it makes no sense for the skin.

But the E does nab it some brownie points. You literally summon a trophy from the ground, after all.

What’s more insulting that getting pinned by a trophy while someone beats you to death?

2. Dragonslayer Trundle

Released: January 30th, 2020
Price: 1350 RP

If you want to play Trundle and you want to be flashy, this is it. This is the skin for you.

Being that Dragonslayer Trundle is a newer skin, and an expensive one at that, it has all those cool-looking animations and particle effects that your Trundle main heart has been searching for all these years.

His recall animation literally has him sprout dragon wings and breathe fire. While his Q, W, and R have really cool looking purple particle effects – and his E just looks truly fantastical.

And I haven’t even mentioned the base model itself yet!

The club looks worthy of a king, his white hair plus blue horn combo makes him look even more menacing than before, and his overall vibe is just plain cool.

However, when you play Trundle, do you want to look cool?

Or do you want to be the king of trolls?

1. Traditional Trundle

Released: April 30th, 2013
Price: 975 RP

This skin is simply too Trundle not to pick as my number one.

Firstly, just look at that splash art.

Can you feel the raw testosterone seeping out of the screen and making you feel like a beta in comparison? That’s the power of Trundle.

Although he doesn’t look as menacing in-game, I still think this skin fits him perfectly.

The base model looks like a proper troll – and all of his animations have been slightly altered so he stands out more.

His club looks like it’s on fire when his Q is procced, his W leaves a very grassy terrain, and his pillar is just that, a pillar.

But if you’re not sold on the skin yet, just hop over to YouTube and have a listen to his laugh emote with this skin.

You can’t tell me that isn’t the most Trundle appropriate laugh ever!

In conclusion, if you want to be flashy, pick Dragonslayer.

But if you want to be a true troll king, reject modernity and embrace the Traditional!
