The beauty of skins in League of Legends is that they can make your champion looks as badass or as adorable as you would want.

Pantheon not cool enough for you? Well what if we gave him a chainsaw?

But aside from just making champions badass or cute, skins can also give you a good laugh.

And that’s our focus for this ranking as we count down some of the funniest skins that League has to offer.

20. Armor of the Fifth Age Taric

Released: April 8th, 2010
Price: 750 RP

We’re jumping right into it with the most fabulous skin in the entire game.

I’m putting it in last place here as it isn’t a complete joke skin, but rather like a half-funny half-badass hybrid.

The fact that the entire skin is pink goes well with every Taric meme ever made. And his getup is to die for too.

The V neck that dared to ask “why can’t it end at the groin”, the Ugg boots, the smug splash art, it just has everything it needs to make this skin feel perfect.

Granted it doesn’t offer any new animations – but considering the price, it’s more than worth a purchase.

19. Emumu

Released: August 1st, 2010
Price: 520 RP

It probably won’t take you long to realize that I’m a sucker for puns and absurd humor.

So the fact that this champ went from Amumu to Emumu is already tickling my funny bone. And the fact that his kit also centers around crying and throwing tantrums makes it even better.

I just love picturing him like one of those goth kids from South Park while locking down some poor ADC main.

No new animations here either – but considering it can’t get any cheaper than this, Emumu is definitely worth looking into.

18. Toy Soldier Gangplank

Released: December 14th, 2011
Price: 975 RP

Besides puns, another skin theme that can always get a chuckle out of me is when Riot takes a badass champion and just makes them look ridiculous.

Seeing the former badass pirate whose death we literally saw during an event come out as a little toy in this skin is comedy gold for me.

I just keep imagining him in the Toy Story universe, blowing everything up with barrels and munching down on some oranges.

There are a few skins that go for this same theme, but personally this one is my favorite of the bunch. Plus, it has some nifty new visual and sound effects.

17. Leprechaun Veigar

Released: March 15th, 2011
Price: 520 RP

I honestly just love Veigar.

His voice-over is simply brilliant, and I can always get a laugh from the little petty wizard with height issues and a temper.

So when you take that already funny champion and just make them a leprechaun for no real reason, I’m beyond pleased.

You get to put on your worst Irish accent and have a great old time while you one-shot everything in sight.

Leprechaun Veigar also features some four-leaf clover particles here and there, to really rub salt in the wound whenever you blast someone off to the end of the rainbow.

16. Pool Party Renekton

Released: September 9th, 2013
Price: 975 RP

In terms of the base model, this skin is alright. You just look like this really chill gator dude chilling by the pool and taking in the scenery while some kid drowns five feet away.

It’s pretty funny – but nothing special by itself.

However, where this skin truly shines in my mind is the backing animation.

If you’re a Renekton main or if you have ever faced a Renekton main, you know that his backing animations is equivalent to mental warfare. And I love it!

It just looks so goofy and stupid that you can’t help but fool around with it while the enemy laner wishes death upon your creed.

15. Surprise Party Fiddlesticks

Released: October 27th, 2011
Price: 975 RP

This skin is so goofy that it’s pretty much legendary.

Ever since the rework, Fiddlesticks has been the most terrifying champion in League of Legends’ roster.

The dude is a walking jump-scare!

But man does it ease the pain when you put this skin on. It just makes you feel like that one adorable goof in every show that has no idea what’s going on, that still wants to help, but somehow always ends up ruining everything.

I live for that feeling – so every ult is a keeper.

Your enemies will definitely still get scared… but who really cares about that in League of Legends?

14. Shamrock Malphite

Released: March 16th, 2010
Price: 520 RP

Shamrock Malphite is rather special when it comes to this list, because it literally made it this far in the ranking just by being horrible.

It’s such a bad skin that it’s absolutely hysterical.

You’re just this green rock dude that throws moldy cheese-wheels at people, and sheds broccoli when he takes too much damage.

And what’s underneath the broccoli, you might ask? A bugger dude.

Although I liked this skin even more before the visual update, I can still get some kicks out of this sloppy mess.

Plus you can pretend that you’re part of the bush and laugh as your screen turns to grey.

13. Pug’Maw

Pug’Maw Skin Splash Art / LoL

Released: March 29th, 2017
Price: 975 RP

This skin is equal parts goofy and adorable – and I really have to commend Riot on their execution.

Exactly how someone saw Kog’Maw and thought about turning him into a cute but deadly dog, I have no idea. But I am here for the concept!

The name is a pun, so points from the get-go.

You also burp up tennis balls at your opponents, so some extra points there.

And lastly, you’re a literal pug facing down thunder gods, evil wizards, and undead kings. So all of the points for that one.

All the animations fit well with the theme here too. And considering it’s only 975 RP, I say that’s a pretty good deal.

12. Hyena Warwick

Hyena Warwick Skin Splash / LoL

Released: December 5th, 2011
Price: 975 RP

I was originally going to put Big Bad Warwick in this spot, as it’s a pretty good joke skin that has Warwick wearing an old lady dress and everything.

But then I remembered the true gem of Warwick skins, Hyena Warwick.

At first this entry might seem strange, since the in-game model looks absolutely badass and very serious. However, the true beauty of the skin can only be experienced once you get in-game.

The skin just makes him laugh like a maniac – and I swear to god, it never fails to make me laugh as well.

Laughter is contagious, after all. And with this skin you’ll be laughing all the time.

11. Baker Pantheon

Released: September 7th, 2016
Price: 975 RP

I honestly can’t even remember how the “Pantheon loves baking” thing started – but man am I glad that it stuck around.

This skin is the final victory of that meme, and Riot came in swinging with this design.

The fact that you wear a puffy little chef’s hat while wielding a butter knife in one hand and a pie in the other is reason enough to buy this skin. But the new animations make it even better.

Everything is bakery flavored, with pie chunks and other sweets flying every which way.

Oh my god, I just noticed that he’s also wearing mittens! This skin just keeps on giving.

10. Draven Draven

Released: March 31st, 2016
Price: 500 RP

Sometimes it’s the simplest and stupidest skin ideas that get me the most.

This one is easy to summarize:

“It’s Draven, but he’s wearing a giant headpiece that depicts, wait for it… Draven”.

It’s like it came straight out of Shia LaBeouf’s mind and I love it.

He’s so naturally cocky that it doesn’t even feel that out of place in the actual game! It’s just a dude with a really big head. Pun very much intended.

Plus it’s only 500 RP, so it’s quite the cheap chuckle.

9. Moo Cow Alistar

Moo Cow Alistar Skin Splash / LoL
Credit: Riot Games

Released: March 29th, 2017
Price: 975 RP

When it comes to the base model, Moo Cow Alistar has a similar zing like the Draven Draven.

Because in this case it’s really just Alistar wearing a cow costume, utters and all.

However, where this skin really shines is the emote spam.

If you thought Renekton’s spam was infuriating, you’ve seen nothing yet.

This skin will ding you into the shadow realm before the minions ever spawn! And because we’re all sadists on the inside, this is hilarious to do to other people.

8. Definitely Not Blitzcrank

Released: October 19th, 2011
Price: 975 RP

The “Definitely Not” skin-line is arguably one of my all-time favorites.

And this is the skin that shot the concept right into stardom.

It’s a very simple design that only changes your character model – and yet it is so brilliant.

Basically it dresses Blitzcrank up in a suit and tie, and it slaps that all-so-popular moustache disguise on too.

It just makes you look like some sort of Disney villain. And Blitzcrank’s ordinary emotes definitely support that hypothesis.

Overall this is a great and funny skin that proves rolling goofballs gather no rust.

7. Definitely Not Udyr

Definitely Not Udyr Skin Splash / LoL
Credit: Riot Games

Released: March 31st, 2015
Price: 975 RP

Definitely Not Udyr takes everything I liked about Definitely Not Blitzcrank, and then cranks it up a few notches. Pun intended.

Instead of just slapping on a moustache, this skin makes Udyr quickly swap between pajama sets in order to cast his abilities.

And man, it is hilarious to watch.

It just feels so demoralizing when a dude in a Wish ninja turtle costume beats you to death.

And in case you haven’t picked up on it yet, that type of humor gives me life.

6. Space Groove Nasus

Space Groove Nasus Skin Splash / LoL
Credit: Riot Games

Released: April 1st, 2021
Price: 1350 RP

Space Groove Nasus puts the goofy and the groovy in GG.

I mean, you’re a little pupper controlling a mech body, and you’re not afraid to throw it down while smacking people with your colorful cane.

The backing animations are amazing, your E feels like the disco of death, and the in-game mode just speaks for itself. And it only gets funnier once you think about what Nasus’s original design was all about.

The god of funk has risen!

5. Dunkmaster Ivern

Released: April 4th, 2019
Price: 1350 RP

There are two very distinct impressions this skin leaves me with.

Number 1, that I’m Wilt from Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends. You see those lanky legs, those lanky arms, that love for basketball, and that overall chill attitude and you can’t help but remember the Cartoon Network classic.

And number 2, Space Jam.

I mean, the second Daisy comes out and starts chucking people in the air with basketballs, I’m at the edge of my seat waiting for Lola bunny to jump out.

Both of these impressions give me great joy. Plus the animations are clean and funny here, so this is just a must-buy gag skin.

4. Pajama Guardian Cosplay Urgot

Released: April 1st, 2020
Price: 1350 RP

Here’s another skin that spawned from a meme – and I’m more than glad with the end result.

For years we begged Riot for a Star Guardian Urgot skin, so that it can finally be sexy again. But they knew it would be too much for our frail eyes, so we got the next best thing.

And instead of the usual anime style with lasers everywhere, you get cats.

Lots and lots of cats.

And it all fits in perfectly to form this goofy skin.

Sure, you might be fed – but you’re also wearing some comfy-looking pajamas and shooting kittens at people, so how can you not break a smile?

3. Gentleman Cho’Gath

Gentleman Cho’Gath Skin Splash / LoL
Credit: Riot Games

Released: May 11th, 2010
Price: 1820 RP

Is this a metaphor for capitalism? Probably not.

But is it hilarious? Absolutely!

Although the skin doesn’t offer much in terms of animations, it more than makes up for that with the character model and voice lines.

Even seeing this ever-expanding gentleman with his top-hat and ripped shirt is quite the hoot. But when you combine it with some hilarious quotes, it gets even better.

Screaming “quiet” while using your W just seems appropriate. And there’s nothing more satisfying than asking someone whether they want cheese with their wine, and then immediately eating them.

2. Corporate Mundo

Corporate Mundo Skin Splash / LoL

Released: September 12th, 2010
Price: 1820 RP

Although I have mixed feelings on the Mundo VGU overall, this skin was a strong positive.

Not only are you still the same babbling buffoon in a suit, but your animations also add entirely new layers of comedy.

My dude literally fixes the stock market in one emote, and then rides off in his tiny homeguard car like he owned the place. And I mean he probably does…

Money symbols are just about everywhere here. And your ear never leaves that phone.

Everything all blends in together perfectly to create the biggest Wall Street douchebag – and it is glorious.

1. Birdio

Birdio Skin Splash / LoL
Credit: Riot Games

Released: March 29th, 2018
Price: 975 RP

Why is my dude working at KFC?

And why is it the best thing I have ever seen?

Let me just explain what his basic combo looks like here.

So, this dude in a chicken costume charges towards you with a chicken leg in his hand – his E.

And then he smacks you across the head while a chicken cluck shakes through your entire body – his passive.

Then he throws buckets of chicken at you and taunts you with his grease – his Q and W.

Plus he turns into cooked chicken when he dies. And he does the chicken dance.

Enough Riot, just take my money and leave!
