Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds Familiar Eggs (Uses & How To Farm Them)

The main use of Familiar Eggs is for hatching Familiars. This mechanic will allow you to obtain Familiars of varying rarities — even Rare 4★ Familiars if you’re really lucky!

The best source of these Familiar Eggs is your Familiar Adventure. There, you can collect the most Familiar Eggs by occupying high-grade Resource Mines.

Alternative farming methods also include your Dailies, Familiar Forest, and Familiar’s Cradle, which you should often visit so you can farm extra Familiar Eggs every day.

How To Use & Hatch Familiar Eggs

You can use your Familiar Eggs on the Hatch Familiar page. There, you can pull for Familiars as long as you have the Familiar Eggs, the Gold, and the Dream Stars for it.

Hatching Familiars takes two hours, and you can Hatch three Familiars at the same time. Make sure that you’re always Hatching every day!

You can also use Wishes, which increases the chances of you getting a specific Familiar, or a Familiar with certain tags that you’ve chosen.

Here’s the Hatch rate for each Familiar rarity and the appearance rate of their Wishes:

Rarity Hatch Rate Wish Appearance Rate
Rare and Normal 4★ Familiars 0.509% 0.770%
3★ Familiars 9.492% 14.630%
2★ Familiars 30.000% 84.599% (Shared)
1★ Familiars 59.999% 84.599% (Shared)

Familiar Eggs aren’t particularly hard to farm compared to rarer materials like Enhancement Stones or Territe.

Here are the four main sources that you should farm if you want more Familiar Eggs:

Source #1: Familiar Adventure (Best Source)

Familiar Adventure (Gather Completion Reward Prompt) / Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds
Familiar Adventure (Gather Completion Reward Prompt)

Your Familiar Adventure is the best source of Familiar Eggs.

This game mode gives you Familiar Eggs as Completion Rewards in addition to the Gold, Prisms, and Quartz you get from occupying Resource Mines.

Preferably, you’d want to occupy higher-grade mines (Grade 4 and above) if you want more Familiar Eggs as Completion Rewards.

Source #2: Familiar Forest

Familiar Forest (Collect All Familiar Gifts)

If you visit at the appropriate times (once every 24 hours), you can get at least two Familiar Eggs from your Familiar Forest.

You can also farm Sands of Time here, which you can use to speed up the Hatch times of Familiar Eggs.

Source #3: Dailies

Dailies (5th Reward) / Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds
Dailies (5th Reward)

You need 100 Daily Activity Points to get the three Familiar Eggs given away as the last reward in your Dailies.

Reaching that amount of Daily Activity Points is fairly easy once you get the hang of it (only up to 10-15 minutes at the very least), so make sure to do it every day to get those Familiar Eggs!

Source #4: Familiar’s Cradle

Familiar’s Cradle is one of the few consistent sources of Familiar Eggs — along with Sands of Time and Dream Stars.

You get only one free entry per day in this game mode, but I wouldn’t recommend using Diamonds to purchase an entry. It simply isn’t worth it — especially if you just want Familiar Eggs.

Make sure to farm this every day, not just for the Familiar Eggs, but also for the Evolution Fruits and the Bean Pods you also get as Clear Rewards.
