Best Sims 4 Babies & Kids Pose Packs (All Free)

Sim photographers out there, say it with me:

Getting Sims to pose for photos is a nightmare.

This is especially true when it comes to the younger Sims in the game – and the youngest two life states aren’t able to be photographed at all, outside of freestyle photography.

But why bother with all that when you can use pose packs?

If you’re not familiar with pose packs, they’re a total game-changer. Once you’ve got your Sims in the desired pose, they don’t move until you tell them to.

Say goodbye to turning off free will and cancelling actions just to snap a pic. And these pose packs for babies are sure to prove useful in so many situations.

FYI: be sure to download the Pose Player and Teleport Any Sim before starting. Then you’ll be on your way to fuss-free photo sessions in no time.

Our Greatest Adventure Pose Pack

Our first entry by Boredsimscc is this super-adorable pose pack, spotlighting the excitement of new parenthood.

There are four poses in total:

Two of parents holding their newborn, and two of a doting mother bonding with her baby.

You will need another pack for the swaddling pose, and a toddler height mod to make them newborn sized.

But you’ll be good to go after that.

Legacy players will love this set because it offers dynamic photos of a new Sim’s early years.

It’s wild to think that The Sims 4 didn’t have pools or toddlers at launch.

Let’s just be grateful EA listens to our suggestions (sometimes).

Because thankfully, we’ve had both for a while.

And SimSulani’s Pool Day With Babies pose pack brings these two things together perfectly.

This eight-pose set features a mother and two toddler-aged children (or twins!) having a fun day at the pool.

There’s a couple with just Mom and one child, and a really cute pose with just the toddlers.

Plus these poses could work well featuring other pool party CC for The Sims 4.

Newborn Pose Pack

Historically, babies in The Sims franchise come to the world… well, fully baby sized.

This means that players miss out on the very early newborn stages.

Well this custom newborn pose pack by LusySims finally gives us the ability to witness newborn-aged Sims, if only in photos.

Six poses in all for this one, with my favorite being the teddy bear snuggling pose (which you can download here).

Mommy & Me Pose Pack

Those of us who enjoy family play, also love a good family photo session.

CC creator A.C. Amaryllis offer us this Mommy & Me Pose Pack. And it’s for all your mother Sims out there, with six poses of one-on-one time with mom and baby.

Some are seated, some are standing, and they’re all really heartwarming.

And if you didn’t grab the toddler height mod before, be sure to do it now.

Also, to make sure the seated poses work, here’s the couch the creator used while taking the photos.

Sunday Walks Poses

Anyone else miss stroller walks with babies and toddlers?

The Sims 3 introduced the ability to walk with little ones with Generations.

And as awesome as it was, we don’t quite have anything comparable yet for Sims 4.

But LusySims comes through again, this time with their Sunday Walks pose pack.

There’s a good variation in these seven poses: two with both parents, two with Mom and baby, and three focusing on the child.

Just download these mods to make the stroller usable for the poses, then you’re good to go!

We’ve covered a lot of baby and toddler pose packs.

But now it’s time for the kids to shine!

These custom children poses by Shijimimechime need a little clarity, because there aren’t actually seven different poses.

Rather it’s just one pose with space for seven child-aged Sims.

It’s perfect if you have a large family with mostly children, or own City Living and create child-specific groups.

Best of all, there’s no extra mods necessary beyond Pose Player and Teleport Any Sim.

TS4 Kids Pose Pack

This pack is for the budding fashionistas in your game.

Couquett’s Kid Pose Pack is a six-pose set with more refined & professional poses than your typical child-oriented pose pack.

The subtle positioning of their hands & feet make it seem like an actual photographer is guiding the shoot.

That said, my favorite pose is definitely the most kid-friendly – with a huge smile and their hands in the air.

You can also use this set in both live mode and CAS.

For the latter, just use the Active trait to activate the poses.

Soulmate Poses

The bond between parent and child is eternal.

So there’s no better description than Soulmate for Puddinsims’ pose pack.

This one’s got five poses, all of which feature an adult-aged Sim spending quality time and playing around with a child Sim.

I could also see this pack working just as well between siblings, aunts/uncles, and other family members too.

No other mods are needed to use this one, so download and jump in!

Karate Kid Pose Pack

As awesome as afterschool activities are in The Sims 4, there was a missed opportunity to add a Karate club.

Never say never with EA, but at least for now we can use KatVerseCC’s Karate Kid Pose Pack in the meantime.

You can have your little Sim break out some sweet Karate moves in this five-pose set.

My Twins Pose Pack I

Oh, twins.

For all the Simmers who actively try for twins and struggle to get them in-game, there’s a group that are blessed (or cursed) with multiple-child pregnancies.

And honestly, once they’re out of the terrible toddler stage, twins are actually adorable.

This custom twins-focused pose pack is another KatverseCC creation, and features five poses with twins and a parent.

The hands-holding and double kiss poses are simply too cute.

But looking at the whole pack, they’re all a great way to commemorate twins in a legacy save.
