They either see it as a tasty treat, or a necessary evil to get themselves going in the morning.
Some don’t even like the taste, and drink it anyway for the effects.
And of course, there are those who are the exact opposite and just can’t get enough of the taste.
Fortunately, you don’t have to visit a cafe every time you want a cup – not that your Sims have that option.
There are endless types of coffee makers and espresso machines out there to give you the options that are just right for you from the comfort of your own home.
Thanks to CC, our Sims will now have multiple options as well.
Simple Coffee Makers
Getting straight to the point, these five coffee makers from Wondymoon are for serious coffee drinkers.
I can only assume that anybody who wants a coffee maker that holds three pots at once has a bit of a caffeine problem… but hey, that’s none of my business.
There are a couple different versions here, aside from the triple threat.
If counter space is a concern, there’s a regular single coffee pot type, as well as some fancier ones with levers.
Nespresso Coffee Maker
Now this is a coffee maker that produces a single cup at a time.
Perfect for those living alone, or without coffee addictions.
It is a somewhat large model, based on the real Nespresso machines.
I thought that was just a name the creator came up with for CC. But it’s actually very accurate to the real thing!
Though it’s available in only two colors, red or white, it really does look great.
Attention to detail like this is hard to beat, as is the design itself. It has a pretty modern look that will be great for any home.
Pacific Heights Coffee Maker
Here we have another high-detail design that’s honestly just downright impressive.
The shininess of this one is off the charts.
In real life it takes a lot of scrubbing and routine cleaning to maintain something like that. But thankfully all your Sim has to do is buy the coffee maker to enjoy the shininess for a lifetime.
And longer, if they come back as a ghost.
Even the pot itself looks amazing, as if it really is made of glass.
You again get two color options here – red or green.
But as pretty as both of those swatches are, the texture honestly makes that secondary.
Don’t worry about it ‘fitting’ with the color scheme of your kitchen – it’s too pretty to pass up!
Altara Coffee Maker
This is a pretty standard model, but it incorporates a few more details than the coffee makers we usually see in the game.
There’s a digital clock too.
Granted it’s forever at 8:36, but it’s a nice touch.
It’s surrounded by buttons – and I think it’s pretty cool that you can actually read them.
They’re all the settings and options you’d expect to see, like ‘cup’, ‘strong’ and ‘auto’ among others.
This CC comes from the same creator as the previous coffee maker mentioned above, so it should come as no surprise that it looks incredible!
Country Coffee Machine
The country lifestyle has a reputation for being simple…
Until it comes to coffee.
No matter one’s background or creed, everyone can use a boost in the morning or throughout the day.
That of course applies to country folks, who often have manual jobs or work that requires them to wake up very early.
At the butt crack of dawn, some might say.
If that sounds like your Sim, then this is the coffee machine for them.
This elaborate system is fully functional, with accents like stickers and water meters on all sides.
Espresso Machines
Now this is what I’d call a machine.
It’s big, it’s beautiful, and it’s for espressos.
A fun thing about this CC is that it could be multipurpose.
If your Sims run a coffee shop or restaurant, this would be perfect for that as well as for their home.
It includes several swatches including blue, yellow, green, red, teal, pink, and orange, as well as your standard black or white options.
In other words, if you’re the type of Simmer who does want everything to match, you’ll have no problem fitting this machine into your kitchen.
I know one ‘off’ item can throw off the whole look, but there’s no possibility of that here!
Functional Coffee Machine
This unique design comes from Descargas Sims.
And I must say it’s pretty impressive.
I don’t know how custom content creators continue to make completely new items, unlike anything we’ve seen before.
But I learned long ago to never rule out anything.
And yet, I continue to find items that simply blow my mind!
With this coffee machine, there are several components.
The pot and filter system are on one side, while the water meter is on the other.
There are also several buttons lining the bottom – good thing Sims don’t have to use them, or I think we’d all be in trouble!
H&B PROBar Coffee Maker
Here we have another fancy machine.
And this ain’t your grandpa’s coffee maker, or one you’ll find in a college kid’s dorm.
This is from the upper echelons of coffee brewing, only for those who are serious about their caffeinated bean drinks.
Okay, maybe that’s a little dramatic.
But the price reflects what I’ve said. Cause you’ll have to cough up 650 Simoleons for this baby.
It features some sleek stickers and details, and is available in many lovely colors.
Time to Plug – Espresso Coffee Machine
If you’d like a more simple coffee machine for typical Sims or families, SIMcredible! has got you covered.
With its small stature and fun designs, this will be the perfect coffee maker if you don’t want anything too flashy or expensive.
It’s pretty straightforward, featuring just a single pot, two plain buttons, and a level.
Besides, there are polka dot swatches! Isn’t that brilliant?
The bright colors make this stand out, but there are basic black and white options, too.
Coffee Machine Décor Item
Sometimes, a coffee machine can actually be a bit of a nuisance.
Especially if you give your Sims full autonomy.
They’ll just make cup after cup of coffee, ignoring the time of day completely.
I can’t count how many times my teen Sims have slyly drank some and gotten all energized at 11 PM on a school night.
Darn kids!
But what kitchen is without a coffee machine?
If you’d like to have one just for furnishing or decor purposes, then this quirky creation is perfect.
As a non-functional item, it will simply sit on the counter and add to the homey vibe. No more unwanted energized moodlets courtesy of coffee.
