Naruto has been popular for decades now. And even though the main story ended a while ago, many people still follow the sequel Boruto, and play every new fighting game based on the series.

Another fun way to stay connected to the greatest Ninja anime ever made is through modding other games – and when I hear “modding”, I think The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

It’s awfully appropriate too, considering how Skyrim also remains relevant despite being released over a decade ago.

And that’s in part thanks to modders who keep making the game better, and giving us new content to explore.

So for this list we’ll explore all the best Naruto mods available for this beloved open-world RPG.

10. Animated Sharingan Loading Screens

We’re starting out small with these Naruto loading screens by Nayas3.

These alternative loading screens will get you thinking of all your favorite Sharingan users in the anime.

Given how many potent foes and ancient sources of power there are in Skyrim, they’d probably love it here.

It might be a little weird to have Naruto loading screens in a game that has nothing to do with ninja, but they’ll make a lot more sense once you’ve installed some of our following entries.

Also if you want even more loading screen mods we’ve got a whole list of ‘em.

9. Ocular Jutsu Eyes Pack

Along with the Sharingan, there are plenty of alternative special eyes in the Naruto universe.

This mod by AntiiMatter makes it easy to bring some of these chakra-infused eyes to Tamriel.

The set features 13 total eyes, which work with all races. These include the Byakugan, the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, the Nine-Tails Sage Mode, and the Rinnegan.

Your enemies won’t know what hit ’em when you start copying their abilities, blocking their mana flow, and trapping them in inescapable torture dimensions.

8. Akatsuki & Naruto Clothing Pack

One of the most famous symbols in Naruto merch is the Akatsuki’s red clouds on a black background.

Every weeb I know seems to own at least one item of clothing bearing the iconic red clouds.

Now your Skyrim characters can also don the Akatsuki robes thanks to this apparel compilation by 1a1a.

And that’s not all!

This also includes plenty more items other than the Akatsuki robe, such as Itachi’s ring, Kakashi’s mask and headband, Gaara’s gourd, and many more iconic items from the show.

7. Samehada & Other Naruto Blades

If you’ve ever wanted to feel like Madara bringing down an entire army of ninja by yourself, I’ve got a mod that’ll put you on the right track.

This pack of Naruto blades by 1a1a includes many powerful (and often gigantic) weapons taken straight from the show, such as Kisame’s Samehada, and the legendary Seven Star Sword wielded in antiquity by the Sage of Six Paths.

And these are not just aesthetic additions, mind you.

These swords have real enchantments inspired by their effects on the show.

For example, Samehada’s bandaged-up version absorbs Magicka, while the “unleashed” version absorbs health.

Now you’ll feel like a true ninja warrior while mowing down hordes of Imperials, Stormcloaks, bandits, and whoever dares take up arms against you.

6. Susanoo Ribcage Protection

Those who have awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan in both their eyes gain access to a whole other level of power – and with it comes the protection of Susanoo.

This colossal warrior spirit surrounds and protects the wielder with its ribcage, while taking the fight to their foes with various weapons.

This mod by Kurasa25 won’t give you access to Susanoo’s complete form. But it will let your character manifest blue or purple ribcages to protect themselves – much like Itachi and Sasuke did at several points throughout the show.

Unfortunately, the effect is only aesthetic, but I’d say it’s worth getting anyways.

5. Naruto (& Dragon Ball) Spell Pack

If you want to cast jutsu that really make a difference, you must check out Luheu1’s Naruto & Dragon Ball spell pack for Skyrim.

This add-on introduces over 40 new spells and abilities based on Dragon Ball’s Ki and Naruto’s Chakra.

These include transformations, projectiles, beams, and more.

My favorites are the Rasenshuriken, High Compression Rasengan, Kyubi Rasengan, and the Sand Coffin.

The transformations here are also a highlight. You may go into Sage Mode, awaken the Rinnegan, or simply become a Super Saiyan, depending on what you need at the time.

4. Naruto Hair Pack (HDT)

Most shounen anime characters have extravagant hair, whether that means ultra-spiky hair like Goku or a chicken’s butt like Sasuke.

And this Naruto Hair Pack will advance your ambitions of turning Skyrim into an anime from the early 2000s by introducing some notorious Hidden Leaf Village hairstyles.

Specifically, they’re inspired by Minato, Madara, Itachi, Sasuke, and Ino.

What sets this hairstyle collection apart from the chaff is the compatibility with HDT Physics Extension plug-in for Skyrim Script Extender, which allows for much more fluid and realistic movement.

3. Naruto Wardrobe (HDT)

If your hair flows like the wind thanks to HDT physics, your wardrobe better move naturally too.

Luckily, creator Gameothic – who’s also behind our previous entry – released this nifty pack of HDT Naruto clothing.

While more is planned for the future, this mod currently includes an Akatsuki outfit, three kinds of Uchiha robe, Anbu armor (as worn by Itachi), a standard Leaf Shinobi outfit, and Sasuke’s Taka outfit.

In addition, you’ll also find almost every possible village headband – even rogue variants with the village’s symbol crossed out.

2. Naruto Ultimate Overhaul

If you’re looking for a single mod to quickly and easily transform Tamriel into the world of Ninja, the Naruto Ultimate Overhaul is the way to go.

The mod by Omega1084 adds several things, including over 100 new eyes for every race, a ton of Ninjutsu in the form of spells, and a wide array of weapons and armor based on the Naruto anime.

There’s the Sharingan, the Byakugan, Sage Mode, and Kyuubi Mode, along with items like Sasuke’s Kusanagi blade and even Tobi’s mask.

Honestly there are too many things to list them all (check the mod description for more).

But it’s fair to say this should be everyone’s first step in their road to ninja mastery in Skyrim.

You’ll find a link to download the mod on the Off-Site Requirements tab of this add-on for Sykrim SE.

1. The Uchiha Clan

The Uchiha Clan / Skyrim Mod

Along with the Naruto Ultimate Overhaul, modded Omega1084 and his companions created The Uchiha Clan to be a playable race in Skyrim.

This unique race favors Illusion, Destruction, and Light Armour along with One-Handed and Two-Handed weapons of any kind.

Their talents make them resistant to fire, and most importantly, they get a powerful Sharingan.

What’s so special about this is how the Sharingan evolves with your character.

The more enemies you kill, the more it grows, granting you new abilities.

Eventually you’ll go on a quest to acquire the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan – and maybe even something more.

This mod is a blast to play, and a must-have for any Naruto enthusiast.
