Being among the most modding-friendly AAA games ever made, Skyrim received a lot of mods that let you become pretty much anyone.
From historical conquerors to super heroes. Becoming the latter, however, is way more exciting.
And no matter which superhero you love the most, Skyrim modders have you covered.
And this list ranks some of the best superhero-related mods you can snag for TES5. Now we might have missed your favorite character here, but considering how many mods are available for the game (over 50k) I’m sure your favorite could be just a Google search away.
But let’s take a look at the best-of-the-best that superheroes can offer Skyrim.
Any bone-fide superhero needs a luscious, flowing cape to be considered a true “super” hero.
Even in the world of The Elder Scrolls!
This Cape Mod lets you wear a beautiful red cape, complete with working physics that looks great on any character. Plus you get male and female variants.
The only downside is that you will need the Dawnguard DLC installed here, as the cape has been lifted from the content added to Skyrim by this DLC.
A little DLC is nothing, though, compared to what you get in return.
With the amount of dangerous creatures that populate the world of Skyrim, I’m not really sure I want to have close contact with Kryptonians.
But this Kryptonian Race mod is perfect for all the Superman fans out there. It introduces a full-fledged rendition of the iconic race, complete with custom abilities, carry weight bonuses, and laser vision.
By comparison, the Last Dragonborn doesn’t look all that powerful, does he?
No mod can ever replicate Deadpool’s witty remarks and dry humor.
One of them, however, can turn you into the Marvel Comics’ superhero with ease.
This fancy mod includes a new standalone armor that’s inspired by the iconic costume of the foul-mouthed superhero, complete with upgrade features that can potentially let you use this armor to complete the game.
And you might even show the world that a sharp mind and a quick tongue are more deadly than any Fus-Roh-Da!
This awesome Thor Follower mod gives us a fully-functional Thor in Skyrim. Well, as a follower.
The character, who can be found outside Riverwood, will level with the player too. And he uses one-handed weapons regularly to unleash the most powerful of thunder spells ever seen this side of Skyrim.
The X-Men are known to be among the most powerful superheroes of all time.
They’re so powerful that they have no trouble dealing with the most fearsome creatures of Skyrim with ease.
And this X-Men Mutant Races mod gives us tons of new races with unique special abilities, but it also gives us a working version of the Wolverine claws!
Can you already feel the fear in your enemies’ booties? I sure can.
The Rider. The Spirit of Vengeance. Or more simply, The Ghost Rider.
And with this Ghost Rider Follower mod, you’ll be able to enlist Johnny Blaze’s help in Skyrim, make him your follower, and let him incinerate all your enemies with his powerful fire-based magic spells.

Secret War goes beyond being a simple superhero mod.
It’s a celebration of multiple franchises which all meet for the very first time in this crazy crossover.
Secret War introduces tons of characters lifted from Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Wars, and a few others.
And don’t think the mod stops at adding heroes with their own unique abilities, oh no. You also get lots of villains who can’t wait to start making some trouble in Skyrim, and get their asses kicked.

No superhero mod list could be complete without a Batman mod.
But this one gives us a lot more than just a Batman style.
We get a new player home, but also a new race, a new set of armor, a new enemy, a new NPC style, and several new spells all tied to the Batman lore.
