They’re either worshipped as sacred animals or depicted as cunning tricksters who prey on unwitting souls.
Whichever way you’ve known them, foxes are here to stay in whatever shape or form.

When Zootopia came out in 2016, I was fully prepared to get hooked once again by Disney’s world-class storytelling.
What I didn’t expect was an attraction to Nick Wilde – a charming con artist in the form of a red fox.
I scoured the internet for others who felt the same way as I do, and unsurprisingly, many people agreed with me that Nick’s a total hottie.
He’s confident, witty, and voiced by Jason Bateman – what’s there to hate?
2. Naruto Tailed Beast
We can’t talk about foxes without mentioning the host of the mighty Nine-Tailed Fox: Naruto.
In this skin by creator SorcererKori, Naruto has a shroud of red chakra around his body, transforming into the shape of a tailed beast.
In this form, Naruto gets a massive power boost that could overwhelm higher-ranking shinobi.
Sure, it sounds like a nightmare to have a human-hating beast inside you, but if Naruto made it work, then so can your Minecraft character!
3. Robin Hood (Fox)
Some foxes like Nick can be deceitful, but not Robin Hood from Disney’s 1973 film of the same name.
As the classic tale goes, Robin Hood is a heroic outlaw who steals from the rich to provide for the poor.
While his actions are illegal, he has pure intentions to help those in need.
I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t mind having a generous fox to assist me in paying my bills.

4. Tod (Fox and the Hound)

5. Tails (Sonic the Hedgehog)
If there’s one overachieving fox in fiction, it’s Miles “Tails” Prower from Sonic the Hedgehog!
He’s a skilled inventor and a master mechanic with talent comparable to Doctor Eggman.
On top of that, he can glide mid-air and even propel himself forward at high speeds with the help of his two furry tails.

6. Swiper (Dora the Explorer)
If you’ve watched (or are still watching) Dora the Explorer, then you’re pretty familiar with Swiper, an orange fox who sucks at theft.
He rarely steals anything, and when he does get lucky in getting near the object he wants, he’s quickly dispatched by these magic words: “Swiper, no swiping!”
Swiper then instantly gives up just. Like. That (as if that ever worked in real life).
But I’ve got to hand it to him, though – he doesn’t know how to give up and would do whatever it takes to get what he wants.

7. Ahri (League of Legends)
Ahri is a League of Legends champion inspired by the kumiho, a mythological creature from Korean folktales and legends.
A kumiho is a fox with nine tails that can shapeshift into a beautiful woman and seduce men.
In Ahri’s case, though, she just obliterates anything in her path with heart-shaped projectiles and by stealing their life essence.
Both kumiho are deadly in their own right, but Ahri takes it to a whole new level.
8. Ninetails (Pokémon)
In Japanese folklore, the more tails a fox or kitsune has, the more powerful and wiser it is.
The Pokémon franchise then took this as inspiration in designing Ninetails, a fire-type Pokémon with golden-white fur.
This majestic creature is said to cast a thousand-year curse on anyone who would dare touch one of its tails.
With that said, I think everyone should be giving you some space in PvP.
9. Fox McCloud (Star Fox)
Did you know foxes can pilot spaceships and are proficient combatants against interplanetary enemies?
It’s possible in the world of Star Fox, a 1993 video game in which a red fox named Fox McCloud must battle robots and other creatures aboard his spacecraft.
If Rocket could be a Guardian of the Galaxy, then Fox McCloud could sure as hell become that too, and more.
10. Fox in a Hoodie
Foxes are already adorable on their own.
But their cuteness levels double (or even triple) when they wear hoodies.
