HM01 Cut in Pokémon Radical Red

Starting from the docks of Vermilion City, show the sailor at the very bottom of the dock your ticket and he’ll let you board the S.S. Anne.
Immediately after entering the ship, you want to head down and then turn left, crossing the various rooms on the way.
Continue heading left and you will soon come across stairs that will take you to the second floor.
After taking the stairs, head down and then turn right where you’ll see more rooms.
Walk past all of the rooms and reach the end of the corridor, after which you’ll have to go up.
If this is your first time coming here then you’ll have to face your Rival, Brendan, who will walk down from the stairs and confront you.

Beat Brendan and then take the stairs leading up to the captain’s quarters.
Finally, to get HM01 Cut, you just have to speak to the captain.
Your player will rub the captain’s back who, in turn, will reward you with this Hidden Machine.
