To this day, I have never been as hyped about League of Legends lore as I was when Senna got announced.

Now, a few years down the road, I love her gameplay just as much as I love her lore.

So it’s time to add cosmetics to the list and truly make her a force to be reckoned with.

She might not have a lot of skins, but I still think it’s worth discussing what makes some better than others.

4. True Damage Senna

Released: November 10th, 2019
Price: 1350 RP

If we’re just talking about the normal True Damage Senna, Riot missed the mark a bit here.

The character model is expectedly urban – but also a bit bland compared to other True Damage or K/DA skins.

The color palette is just kind of basic too. And while I do like that her gun is a bit pimped out, I think they could have done a bit more to make it stand out.

Now the animations, on the other hand, are really solid if you ask me.

Her E playing True Damage music along with having sound waves around the border was a really cool feature that definitely makes the skin feel a bit more unique.

And the particles on your Q and W are also very distinct and colorful, which is a plus.

Your backing animation here is simple but effective – and your passive souls are actually little moving orbs, which are way easier to spot that usual.

That being said, they can also be a bit distracting.

And when it comes to the Prestige edition, it just rocks. It fixes all of the issues I had with the character model & gives True Damage Senna that little bit of extra oomph that it was missing.

So definitely pick it up if you can.

3. PROJECT: Senna

Released: May 27th, 2021
Price: 1350 RP

I was initially going to dismiss this skin straight off the bat because I just did not vibe with the splash art.

But I was pleasantly surprised once I actually took a look.

When you think about it, PROJECT makes a lot of sense for Senna – as her giant gun is basically high-tech in disguise.

And while I still don’t like Senna’s hairstyle in this skin, I have to admit that the color scheme did absolute wonders for her.

Everything feels and looks fluid, and the new particle effects fit right in.

Plus all of the beep and boop sound effects really lend themselves to Senna’s playstyle & made every ability feel impactful.

PROJECT: Senna also comes with a few more bells and whistles too, like a voice filter, a hologram-centered backing animation, and a pretty decent lineup of chromas.

So I would say it’s a strong competitor overall & also worth getting.

2. Lunar Eclipse Senna

Released: April 28th, 2022
Price: 1350 RP

Although the community seemed somewhat split on this skin, I have to say that I’m a fan.

The armor (especially the headpiece), while a bit odd, makes the skin stand out quite a bit. Sure, it doesn’t use the most creative color palette but there are plenty of chromas to do the job. And the animations are just sick. I especially like the design for the runes left after your Q and R – as it just makes those abilities feel a bit more mysterious and powerful.

The W feels like a completely new ability (in a good way) and even the E feels distinct from other skins.

My only gripe is that the soul design came up short. It’s just some token with the moon on it. They could’ve done better than that.

It’s also worth mentioning that this skin has a Prestige edition. This is especially notable as it changes the character model quite a bit. You go from the terror of the night to a powerful aristocrat in a second! And this level of change is quite rare for Prestige skins.

Of course, it also changes your particles and makes everything golden – but the new character model is the main selling point if you ask me.

Overall, quite a brilliant skin with lots of variety in terms of both chromas and a Prestige edition. So if you don’t have the money for my number one pick – give this skin a shot.

1. High Noon Senna

Released: June 18th, 2020
Price: 1820 RP

This was never a competition, as High Noon Senna just slaps way too hard not to be in first place every time.

The character model does everything right: from Senna’s outfit making you feel like the true talk of the western town, to your gun now looking more unique and cooler than ever before.

Like seriously, the gun redesign alone is worth the legendary status.

But of course, the skin gets even cooler than just that.

Your passive souls are now flaming bullets, which is just next level. And your W actually chains people down, plus your E makes you feel like a fire demon – and both your Q and R look and feel like absolute forces of destruction.

You get completely new emotes, even including actual music for your dance emote, a new voice-over, and a literal horse for both your backing animation and your new homeguard animation.

I can’t overstate just how cool the horse is.

In fact, this entire skin really makes me wish that there was a game where High Noon Senna was the protagonist so that I could order it this very instant.
