Like seriously, if the word ugly needed a picture definition, they would probably put someone else on out of consideration for their readers.
But with the update, everything changed!
I’m not even kidding when I say that Urgot now has some of the most consistently phenomenal skins in all of League.
Although there are only five, each one is worth it.
But let’s have a look at all of these legendary skins and rank them down to the #1 best pick.
5. Butcher Urgot
Released: August 24th, 2010
Price: 520 RP
Although I’m putting this skin in last place, it’s still far from a bad skin!
For only 520 RP you get an extremely good character model, an eerie splash art, and even some new animations.
The entire skin is very horror-themed, with Urgot wearing a metal mask and a bloodied white coat in the front.
Oh yeah, his normal auto-attack also now has him shooting little buzzsaws!
I also just really like how they designed the legs in this skin – as it truly has that mad scientist vibe that fits so well with the champion.
Overall it’s a cheap skin with a clear theme, clean animations, and flying buzzsaws.
4. Battlecast Urgot
Released: March 5th, 2012
Price: 1350 RP
Here’s one skin that just fits in perfectly with Urgot, as it makes you a living weapon.
And not a fake living weapon – I’m looking at you Zac…
No, you’re a true war-made machine that would probably slaughter millions.
From his recall to his ability animations and character model design, everything has been futurized to fit this theme.
His Q now has him shoot missiles on the floor, both of his hands are now guns, and his ult is attached through a claw clenching onto your body.
Oh yeah, and when he pulls you in, he literally cremates you inside of his body.
It just fits the champion so well.
And honestly, all of these skins were ranked by the smallest of margins possible.
3. High Noon Urgot
Released: August 30th, 2018
Price: 1350 RP
The hat that Urgot has been proudly dancing with for quite some time now is a permanent feature.
That alone should be reason enough to buy this skin.
But if you truly need more convincing, I’m just going to say this is one tough cowboy.
His Q has been throwing down literal TNT, and his ult is one of the best out there.
Not only are there little train tracks that show you how much time you have left to pull them in, but you also hear a big “choo choo” when you successfully execute someone!
Now that’s the type of audio/visual design that I came here to see.
2. Pajama Guardian Cosplay Urgot
Released: April 1st, 2020
Price: 1350 RP
This skin is one of the biggest victories the League community has ever achieved.
For years people have begged for a Star Guardian Urgot skin. And when we were all at our lowest, as the entire world started falling apart, they came out with this gem.
Sure, he’s not technically a true Star Guardian.
But we’ll take what we can get!
There’s just something so satisfying about this skin, as it never gets less funny hearing a dude with 6 cat slippers talking about how existence is pain.
The animations are also all expertly made, with those iconic anime-inspired effects as well as a little tune for whenever you hit your ult.
There’s only a single Urgot skin that can surpass this one, and even then it’s somewhat of a tossup.
1. Giant Enemy Crabgot
Released: August 24th, 2010
Price: 520 RP
To me, this skin is the biggest underdog story of the decade.
It used to be the ugliest skin for the ugliest character in the entire game.
Now?
I honestly think Giant Enemy Crabgot is the best value skin you can get in the entire game.
For only 520 RP you get a skin that would have been worth at 1350 RP.
First you see this amazing Godzilla-looking splash art that just makes you feel like an absolute badass.
Then you get into the game and realize that you feel just as badass in-game as well!
The character model is downright gorgeous, with elemental orbs taking the place of your usual shotgun knees, and claws substituting your guns.
Even your abilities have been either recolored, like his passive hits and shield (or completely redesigned, like his Q and R) in order to fit the whole underwater theme.
But the absolute cherry on top of everything is the fact that your ult has you pull your enemies close, only to be eaten by a mouth in your stomach.
It’s horror fuel.
And it fits perfectly, 10/10.
