The best place to farm the Sharp Spearheads from is the Unrecorded History Stage 12. Moonbug Valley, where you can get them as both drops and as purchasable items in the AP Exchange Shop there.

Other reliable sources of Sharp Spearheads include Side Story Events and your Guild, which allows you to request Catalysts and purchase Catalyst Chests for Guild currency.

Source #1: Unrecorded History Stage 12. Moonbug Valley (Best Source)

The best method of farming Sharp Spearheads is to farm Stage 12. Moonbug Valley of the Epilogue (Unrecorded History) chapter in the Side Story missions.

There is only one other Catalyst featured as a drop in this stage, which raises the chances that you’ll get Sharp Spearheads each time you clear the stage.

I recommend bringing Pets that increase your AP acquisition rate. Doing this will cut your farming time significantly.

You can also buy up to 20 Sharp Spearheads per week for 120 AP each from the Unrecorded AP Exchange Shop.

Don’t spend all your AP in one place so you can save them up for other Catalysts.

Source #2: Side Story Events

Side Story Events are another great way to farm not just Catalysts, but also all kinds of precious resources like Skystones, Gold, and Molagora.

You can get Sharp Spearheads either as clear rewards, reputation rewards, or purchasable items in the Event Exchange Shop.

Don’t forget to equip Pets that boost the acquisition rate of your Event Currencies before you clear any Side Story Event stages.

Note: As of Patch 01/26/23, you can now play any Side Story Event you want as long as you’ve already unlocked them.

To unlock Side Story Event Missions, all you need to do is clear Adventure Mode stages. You can only play one Side Story Event at a time.

Replace Side Story (Dear Mentor > Unspoken Truth)

Choosing or replacing a Side Story requires an item called “Change Ticket”. You are given a Change Ticket once every two weeks.

Source #3: Guild Member Shop

You can buy Rare Catalyst Chests and Epic Catalyst Chests in the Guild Member Shop with Guild Currencies.

Do note that Catalyst Chests that can be bought in the Guild Member Shop only give you random Catalysts every time you open them.

Staying active and donating every day is all you need to do to accumulate enough Guild Currencies to buy these Catalyst Chests every week.

Source #4: Guild Aid

You can request any kind of Rare Catalyst from your guildmates using the Guild Aid feature, which you unlock right after joining a Guild.

You can only request up to two Rare Catalysts every day, so try to make the most of it whenever the game clock resets.

Try to ask for permission first before requesting Catalysts. Rare Catalysts are still quite valuable and requesting them as Aid may even be seen as a rule violation by some of the stricter Guilds.

In case you plan on requesting Catalysts through the Guild Aid regularly, don’t be a leech and try donating your excess Rare Catalysts as well.
