Wanderer’s Palace (Hard) is unlocked through the level 50 quest “Not Easy Being Green”. It is available from Bloezoeng in Revenant’s Toll (X:22.0, Y:8.0) after completing a few prerequisites (listed below).

This is a level 50 dungeon that’s inhabited by Tonberries. The hard version of this dungeon features different enemies, loot, and boss mechanics.

After completing the normal version of Wanderer’s Palace, look for Bloezoeng inside the Seventh Heaven in Revenant’s Toll (X:22.0, Y:8.0). If you are done with the level 50 Main Scenario Quest, “The Ultimate Weapon”, he’ll have a quest available for you named “Not Easy Being Green”.

You’ll learn from Bloezoeng that he has a treasure hunter acquaintance that is looking for you.

This friend of his is labeled as “Blundering Treasure Hunter” and can be found in Upper La Noscea (X:30.0, Y:22.9), just a few steps north of the Camp Bronze Lake aetheryte.

The treasure hunter tells you of how the Wanderer’s Palace is now being overrun by Mamool Ja mercenaries, killing or imprisoning any tonberries they find. This treasure hunter and his steadfast companion ask you to head into the palace once again to rid it of its Mamool Ja conquerors.

Head on over to the entrance to Wanderer’s Palace in Upper La Noscea (X:25.0, Y:23.0), west of the Camp Bronze Lake aetheryte.

Here you’ll find Abazi Charazi, a lalafell you’ll need to speak with to get inside Wanderer’s Palace once more.

You can now select the Wanderer’s Palace (Hard) in the Duty Finder.

Note: The Blundering Treasure Hunter and his Steadfast Companion can only be found in Camp Bronze Lake while “Not Easy Being Green” is active.

Why Run The Wanderer’s Palace (Hard)

Aside from being involved in yet another story that builds up the world of FFXIV, an adventurer might have a couple of other reasons to run the Wanderer’s Palace (Hard).

Let’s see what exploring this dungeon has to offer.

Duty Roulette

In order to unlock the Level 50/60/70/80 Roulette, you’ll need at least 2 of the dungeons in its list unlocked. Completing both versions of the Wanderer’s Palace will fulfill this requirement.

This is a viable option for unlocking the Level 50/60/70/80 Roulette right after finishing the base Main Scenario for A Realm Reborn.

Gear Sets

The coffers inside the Wanderer’s Palace (Hard) will contain equipment that have an item level of 100. This is actually pretty solid for completing post-ARR content such as the Crystal Tower, the Coils of Bahamut, or even other level 50 dungeons.

The different gear you’ll find inside are the Varlet, Bogatyr, and Picaroon armor sets.

Other Items

Tonberry Triple Triad Card / FFXIV

The treasure coffer dropped by Manxome Molaa Ja Ja, the dungeon’s final boss, may contain extra items that aren’t gear.

These items may be:

  • The Manxome Molaa Ja Ja Card
  • The Tonberry Card
  • Or the Tricksome Orchestrion Roll

The two cards can be used to add to your Triple Triad collection or sold for MGP at the Golden Saucer.

You can use the Orchestrion Roll to add Tricksome, the song that plays throughout Wanderer’s Palace (Hard), to your Orchestrion library.
