It’s time to pack your school bag, tuck in your shirt, and get your toast at the ready – anime high school has hit the Rift.

Fortunately, this high school is slightly more fun than a standard school; it’s dedicated to teaching students the art of being a superhero, and how to use their abilities for the greater good.

Jokes aside, Battle Academia skins are fun, playful, and satisfy the heart of every otaku out there.

13. Battle Academia Wukong

Released: March 18th, 2021
Price: 1350 RP

I have a love-hate relationship with this skin.

On the one hand, it turns him into a goofy class joker (or buffoon, ba dum ts), which is absolutely fun to play as.

There’s cute sticker emotes, funky particle effects, and he even rides a hoverboard in the homeguard animation.

On the other hand, it’s just not Wukong.

He’s been turned into a human and honestly looks unrecognizable.

While it’s a solid skin, it feels a bit disrespectful to Wukong as a champion – what’s wrong with his fluffy monkey paws?

12. Battle Academia Garen

Released: March 18th, 2021
Price: 1350 RP

Battle Academia Garen might have left Demacia to attend school, but Demacia hasn’t left his heart: he’s still the brutish tank he always was, with bulky school-themed armor and a giant badass sword.

His blonde hairdo surprisingly suits him, and the recall, where he spars it out in a battle simulator, is super fun to watch.

Now, I’m personally not won over fully by this skin.

I find it a little dull, especially in the animation department.

No particle effects really “wow” me, and it doesn’t bring anything unique to the table.

Garen’s spin to win does feel a lot more powerful, though.

11. Battle Academia Leona

Released: March 18th, 2021
Price: 1350 RP

Battle Academia Leona manages to rock a cute but deadly look.

While her outfit is brimming with adorable pastel colors, her weapon and particle effects are totally badass.

This look is hard to pull off, but Riot have honestly nailed the delicate balance.

Plus the animations are polished and have great visual clarity, which should help you land that gamechanging CC.

Sadly, Leona’s outdated base model does let the skin down.

No amount of flashy effects can remedy the feel of clunky attacks.

Nevertheless, the skin is overall a solid pick, especially considering the price tag.

It’s also a little more subtle with the anime thematic, making it a great option if you’re not ready to openly proclaim your weebness just yet.

10. Battle Academia Katarina

Released: May 15th, 2019
Price: 1350 RP

Even in the playground Katarina is all about the edgy “loner” life.

She rocks an outfit that clearly doesn’t meet school regulations, complete with rebellious dyed purple hair.

Animations are flashy and slick overall, and I love the dual blade design.

Sadly, the Q particle effects are a little flat in my opinion – but the skin does make up for this with its ultimate.

The ultimate honestly puts the spotlight on Katarina whenever she uses it (even if she’s inting).

It genuinely looks like a final battle boss move.

9. Battle Professor Graves

Released: May 15th, 2019
Price: 1350 RP

Hottest professor coming through!

Battle Professor Graves is pretty much fanservice material in every way; I would be more than happy to take his classes.

Aside from his body pillow worthiness, Professor Graves looks snazzy, elegant, and totally badass.

Even the animations are pretty unique, having a bright anime-esque look.

What really seals the deal though is the backing and homeguard animations.

In the recall, you get to see Graves battle it out against paper planes while writing on his blackboard.

In the homeguard, Graves literally skedaddles across the map while attempting to carry a huge pile of books (and toast).

Coolest professor on earth.

8. Battle Academia Lux

Released: May 15th, 2019
Price: 1350 RP

Lux already has an anime character’s bubbly personality; she just wants to light up the world with positivity, smiles, and well, light itself.

This skin puts her in an outfit that reflects this bubbliness and allows her to shine as brightly as she wants.

It’s colorful, cute (especially the knee-high socks), and its particle effects are super shiny and sparkly.

The recall is totally derpy and adorable as well.

To top it all off, the ultimate in this skin literally lets you kamehameha your enemies to death.

The power of sunlight has never been so weeby.

7. Battle Academia Lux Prestige Edition

Released: May 15th, 2019
Price: 100 Prestige Points

Lux’s shininess and light power get taken to a whole other level in the Prestige Edition.

It’s so bright, it’s honestly blinding.

Her outfit is covered in sparkles and the particle effects have been given a shiny makeover, with some subtle rainbow hues thrown in.

The hairstyle in this skin also suits Lux way more than the regular Battle Academia skin hairstyle.

6. Battle Academia Jayce

Released: May 15th, 2019
Price: 1350 RP

Arcane blessed us with some hot Jayce action, and Battle Academia takes his hotness a step further.

He genuinely looks like he came straight out of a visual novel.

I mean, he looks utterly handsome, and utterly badass.

We’re talking slick hair, a leather jacket, and a hammer that looks so godly it puts Thor’s hammer to shame.

Even the particle effects are super flashy, with colorful explosions, holograms, and electrifying energy.

To top it off, the ability animations are a total gamechanger.

They’re smooth, concise, and have more clearly defined hit-boxes than his base skin.

Oh, and who could forget the iconic homeguard?

It literally lets you zoom around on his hammer like a hoverboard.

Pure comedy.

5. Battle Academia Leona Prestige Edition

Released: March 18th, 2021
Price: 100 Prestige Points

I absolutely LOVE the Prestige version of this skin.

She rocks a gold plated outfit and a shield so majestic it looks like it belongs behind a glass display.

Even her hair has been given a glamorous glow up.

Plus, the animations are extra sparkly.

However, the main reason why I’d pick this version over the regular skin – and fork out all my savings – is because it fits Leona’s “solari” aesthetic so much better.

With every hit, you can feel the sun’s energy coursing through you, thanks to the gold particle effects.

4. Battle Academia Caitlyn

Released: March 18th, 2021
Price: 1820 RP

This skin transforms Caitlyn into the most badass class president to ever exist.

She’s got smarts, class, and a whole lot of asskicking weaponry.

Battle Academia Caitlyn is also a dedicated member of the weeb society.

By that, I mean her skin is brimming with weeb-pleasing references, including chibi emotes, the iconic “kawaii” blush, and a cool manga overlay whenever she ults.

Even her voice lines have been given an anime makeover, with an emote that lets you spam the classic anime cackle.

Oh, and her outfit is super cute – an A* look!

3. Battle Principal Yuumi

Released: May 14th, 2019
Price: 1350 RP

This purrfect kitty has the whole school premises under her paw; she uses her adorable feline ways to get fish hand-fed to her day in day out.

Jokes aside, Battle Principal Yuumi is an adorable and hilarious skin.

Just like the skin name suggests, it transforms Yuumi into a school principal, equipped with a pair of glasses and a cape-like bandana.

The animations are colorful, but what really makes this skin worthy of such a high spot is the recall animation.

In the recall, Yuumi struts around the desk, eyes up the coffee mug and in typical cat fashion…

Knocks it over.

Cats really know how to abuse their authority.

2. Battle Academia Yone

Released: March 18th, 2021
Price: 1350 RP

Yone already had anime protagonist vibes. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that this skin takes his weeb status a step further.

He has the most stereotypical anime character look out there, sporting an overly colorful hairdo, an edgy uniform, and a katana.

What makes Battle Academia Yone really stand out though is his sword moves.

Well, I should say lack of sword moves.

Like every shonen protagonist in existence, he’s able to slash things up without even drawing his sword from its sheath (because ya know, he’s too lightning quick to see with the naked eye).

He can even slice up fish and turn it into perfect sashimi.

It’s fun, playful, and as much as I hate to admit it, makes you feel like a total anime badass.

Aside from funky emotes, animations are ultra-smooth and explosive, and the accompanying sound effects are utterly satisfying.

I also love that he can summon up a holographic katana to turn himself into a dual wielder (yep, pretty much Kirito vibes).

1. Battle Academia Ezreal

Released: May 15th, 2019
Price: 1820 RP

If you thought Yone was the MC, think again – Battle Academia Ezreal makes Yone look like a side character.

It’s honestly an otaku’s dream, from emotes where Ezreal quotes iconic Dragon Ball lines and texts his anime waifu, to a homeguard where he performs the ultimate anime meme move: running late to school with toast in your mouth.

The outfit is utterly gorgeous too, packed with detail, battle readiness, and flashy weaponry.

Abilities feel smooth, slick, and look like they came straight out of badass action manga.

Oh, and I haven’t even mentioned the best part yet.

Battle Academia Ezreal literally lets you live out your dream of being a Super Saiyan; with every attack, his Saiyan mode visually powers up.

Battle Academia Ezreal has scored top marks in my heart.
