Top 60 Cutest Pink-Haired Anime Girls: The Best Of All Time
This post may contain affiliate links. If you buy something we may get a small commission at no extra cost to you. (Learn more). You seldom find pink hair in regular live-action TV or movies. No, this is an anime thing.
Whether artists design these characters to be more unique, further from reality, or just because it’s so damn cute, that’s up for debate. But one thing’s for sure: there’s a lotta pink-haired girls in anime!
And because there are so many cute/psychotic/amazing pink-haired characters in anime, we want to learn about as many as possible.
But let’s be chivalrous here: ladies first!
60. Krul Tepes
Anime: Owari no Seraph (Seraph of the End)
It’s like, they introduce Ferid Bathory and you just think “man that must be a powerful vampire” and then this pink-haired, child-looking girl comes onto the scene and absolutely mops the floor with him.
So yeah, she is powerful.Very powerful.
In fact, she’s the queen of the vampires.
How can she remain so cute while having so much blood on her hands?
59. Mamika Kirameki
Anime: Re: Creators
Mamika is so precious. She’s the token magic girl/Sailor Moon character, but with more pink, in the world of Re: Creators.
To be more precise, she’s within a show of their world where she battles evil doers so that the smiles of the world won’t fall into the wrong hands.
I mean how precious is that? Sure Altair didn’t find it that cute, but she has no taste anyway!
58. Ram
Anime: Re: Zero
Rem might be the fan favorite, but Ram is still pure gold in her own right.
She’s more outgoing than her dandere sister and usually has to take the initiative.
She’s what I would call a “mood” character. As she is always somewhat snarky and doesn’t get particularly close to anyone aside from her sister.
Okay and Roswaal, she really fangirls Roswaal, in her own deadpan way that is.
57. Ruki
Anime: Senyuu
It’s safe to say that Ruki makes up the cuter part of this show.
As everyone else focuses more on being irrationally stupid, abusive, or manly, Ruki is our only source of pure moe.
Just get her away from that old dude. I know she is cute, we all know she is cute, but he is in some Chris Hansen territory.
She belongs at Ross’ side, making fun of Alba.
56. Milim Nava
Anime: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
Milim overpowered the overpowered. I didn’t even know that was allowed.
So yes, Milim Literal Destruction Nava is a powerhouse in this world with her only fault being the naivety of a 7-year-old.
Rimuru beat her entirely based on the ye old “be friends will me and I will feed you” grounds.
Which is a powerful technique, let’s be honest.
She then just became the wild card of the group, as a constant reminder that she could end the show if she had one bad day.
55. Kosuri Onigashira
Anime: Shimoneta
We will not be discussing the shape of her head, okay?
In art it’s always important to be inspired. So when drawing lewd pictures, as Kosuri does, she has to get creative.
And a bit pervy.
But once she’s inspired she just goes off, drawing picture after picture, seemingly without taking a breath or praying to the Lord for forgiveness until she is satisfied with the results.
54. Rumiho Akiha
Anime: Steins;Gate
In a show that can get as depressing as Steins;Gate, it’ss always good to have someone to lighten up the mood.
Misses nya-nya Rumiho definitely fulfills that role with her very eccentric personality and constant nyas.
This is especially true when she’s in the company of our madu scientist, as they discuss the battle techniques the other might use.
53. Mei Hatsume
Anime: Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia)
Mei is definitely not the strongest character in this universe. But I doubt that even Deku could rival her ambition.
Wanting nothing more than for her “babies” to be seen by the world, she’s willing to work for days on end with no rest, never once losing the smile on her face.
Her quirk allows her to see even the smallest parts of any machine making her perfectly adapt to create the heroes’ support items.
52. Inori Yuzuriha
Anime: Guilty Crown
Kuudere success stories are just entertaining okay?
Starting off we see Inori as a robotic and cold person who cares little for others’ feelings, and also murders tons of people.
But after some at home “Inori: Becoming Human” shenanigans with Shu, we (herself included) get a better glimpse into her emotions.
Her attitude spikes a bit at the end, if you catch my drift. But that’s showbiz baby.
51. Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière
Anime: Zero no Tsukaima
If Black Clover’s Asta and Noelle ever have a kid it will basically be Louise.
Just like her anime papa, she has a very low affinity towards magic in a world where magic is everything. Even landing her the nickname of Louise the Zero.
And from her mother’s side she gets a noble background and the snobbishness that comes with it.
She also gets that all so precious tsundere vibe.
50. Momo Belia Deviluke
Anime: To Love Ru
If Gowther ever retires from the world of Seven Deadly Sins and becomes a real boy, I can bet that Momo would do an excellent job filling in as the sin of lust. She would even fit the bill a lot better.
So yes, if the tail didn’t give it away Momo definitely abides by the 34th rule of the internet as she constantly both imagines Rito in NSFW situations as well as tries to get him into NSFW situations.
49. Madoka Kaname
Anime: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica (Puella Magi Madoka Magica)
A good amount of magical girl anime is essential for the viewing diet of any individual.
Madoka is a magical girl, with an overall pink aesthetic, that we watch as she does her best to help people out in glorious shoujo fashion.
She is quite shy and timid… What?
There was a switch you say? She’s more of the risk taking type. Well whatever, the important thing is that she is cute and fun to watch, whoever she is.
48. Hinagiku Katsura
Anime: Hayate no Gotoku! (Hayate the Combat Butler)
Hinagiku definitely falls into that “student council president, beloved by all, a god among mortals yet humble” type of character.
We also get a variety of clubs with which she intermingles, most notably the Kendo club as she is the captain. And other wholesome high school activities.
She does, however, get the Disney channel parents… but hey, I bet Mr. Katsura is way cooler than both of them combined.
47. Moka Akashiya
Anime: Rosario to Vampire
I’m really sensing a pattern with pink-haired girls and split personalities.
But more on that later.
The pink-haired Moka is actually the kind and sensitive one, while the inner and original Moka has white hair.
It’s usually the pink-haired ones that are psycho you know.
Personally, it gives off a strong Tsubasa Hanekawa vibe, which is always a plus.
Also might I mention that Moka is a vampire? Probably should have lead with that one.
46. Ikaros
Anime: Sora no Otoshimono (Heaven’s Lost Property)
I didn’t even know this constitutes as pink, but the wiki never lies!
So Ikaros, an Angeloid that fell from the world of Synapse only to be saved by Tomoki, who she then “imprints”.
What does this mean?
He gets an adorable pet girl and it’s not weird.
We also later learn the exact reason why she “fell” from Synapse. And let’s just say that she might not have the bark but she definitely has the bite. I swear the pet thing isn’t weird.
45. Yui
Anime: Angel Beats!
Energetic isn’t a strong enough word to describe Yui.
If she could, I’m pretty sure she would literally bounce of the walls all day in a weirdly cute array of acrobatics.
And her mouth is as quick as her body, as she tends to chatter a lot. In a very loud manner.
As well as slip into those DMs if given the opportunity.
Why she’s like this, we have no idea. And don’t look into it, please just look at her current antics instead.
44. Watashi
Anime: Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita (Humanity Has Declined)
Me, myself, and I is the moderator between fairies and humans, often called just Moderator or even Okashi-chan, as she has found the beauties of complex carbohydrates.
As far as personality goes, she’s a little bit of everything; she’s a tad lazy and likes to complain. But also seems to enjoy her job from time to time.
She’s cartoony, happy, and upbeat, but also brandishes a knife and knowns how to manipulate people.
43. Crona
Anime: Soul Eater
Not technically a girl, but since I doubt I will get to write a “best ambiguous sex people” list, here we are.
Not only does Crona have a very unlucky name in the year of 202X, but life in general isn’t too kind to them.
They have a very fragile ego and mind, as constant bullying will do that to a person.
Because of this, they can get a bit stabby-stabby in fits of madness but hey, victim of circumstance and dope ass hair.
42. Amu Hinamori
Anime: Shugo Chara!
This character just gets a whipping “same” from me.
She’s basically a person who built up a very tough and cool personality at school, rockin’ getup and all, but’s just a kind-hearted softy on the inside.
She gets tired of this façade after a while and wishes to be someone else.
Which is when she gets magical eggs that hatch her three guardian characters. It went better than with Meruem, I swear.
41. Akari Mizunashi
Anime: Aria The Animation
As they say “one step forward, two steps back, repeat it enough times and you get really good at walking backwards”.
Was this a metaphor for Akari’s personality? No.
But for heaven’s sake, the woman rows the boat backwards and is somehow faster that way.
At least she is very up FRONT in her relations with people, as she seemingly never has issues with taking to people and making tons of friends.
40. Utena Tenjou
Anime: Shoujo Kakumei Utena
Scene 1: tragic, even during early childhood.
Scene 2: yare yare, someone saved you, it was me, Dios!
Okay enough of that. Utena does really get saved by a man named Dios and vows to never lose her nobility, as a prince.
That’s right, this is a strict no princess zone.
With Anthy Himemiya at her side, we get some of that good contrasting friend duo content, as they go through their life in the prestigious school of Ohtori academy.
39. Lacus Clyne
Anime: Mobile Suit Gundam Seed
Lacus is a pacifist who strives for a world where Naturals and Coordinators may live in peace and co-exist.
Interest not peeked. But she’s also an idol and has abilities connected to her music.
Now we’re talking. Although appearing as an air-head most of the time, she definitely has her more profound moments. And even has a speech vaguely similar to the Paths of Pain, although be it in the opposite direction.
38. Anemone
Anime: Eureka Seven
Anime scientists really like modifying the human body.
Even though it rarely goes well.
So Anemone was modified to be more like a Coralian, and serves as the pilot for TheEND.
The procedure has left her with plenty of side-effects such as nose bleeds, headaches, bursts of violence, you know the usual.
She’s a badass when it comes to battle, let’s not fool ourselves. And easily has the best pet ever.
37. Momo
Anime: Magical Princess Minky Momo
From the days of old; Momo hails from an ‘80s magical girl show and has literally done everything there is to do.
She played professional tennis, was a police officer, a firefighter, perhaps started the Isekai truck trope, and so on.
But most importantly, her entire end goal is to make sure people’s dreams come true. Can I get an aww in chat.
36. Miwako/Mikako Sakurada
Anime: Paradise Kiss
You get a two for one special here.
If you want the more shy and submissive type then Miwako is the right pick for you.
And if you want an extremely talented but kind of bratty girl, then by all means Mikako is the one. Choose wisely.
35. Madoka Amahane
Anime: Aikatsu!
I’m guessing you aren’t surprised that Madoka is an idol.
She just gives off that idol vibe, you know.
I mean she has the pig tails, the cheerful personality, the ironically low self-esteem, it’s all there.
However, she has one added notion that I’m surprised more idol characters don’t have: a superb designer taste. Only Angely Sugar is accepted here!
34. Chibiusa
Anime: Sailor Moon
“”I’m the Pretty Guardian Trainee who fights for Love and for Justice! I am Sailor Chibi Moon!”
How does one even react to this?
Do you melt away at the fact that she is called Sailor Chibi Moon, or wonder why a child is about to kick your ass?
It isn’t even just her looks she honestly behaves like a child. So getting beaten up by her must be a low blow to the criminal pride.
33. Sayuri Haruno
Anime: Bonjour♪Koiaji Pâtisserie
Yes, that is legitimately what the show is called.
Our petite mademoiselle is a smart cookie at making cookies. In other words, she wants to become the next cake boss and has the GPA to back it up!
She’s a complete dandere and just a sweetheart, so watching her struggle because people are mad jealous just brakes mon Coeur.
32. Yachiru Kusajishi
Anime: Bleach
If anime has taught me anything, it’s that if you see a child in a uniform, run.
And Yashiry is as childish as they get.
Most of her motives can be traced back to either her wanting a snack or wanting to pull a sick prank on someone.
But if you ever attack her she will basically kick your ass while on auto-pilot. If not, then her moving seat also known as Kenpachi Zaraki will do you in.
31. Kenpachi Zaraki
Anime: Sword Art Online
I guess it would be more fitting to call her Lisbeth as her avatar is the one with the pink hair.
It still counts by SAO standards though. Honestly, Lisbeth is probably the smartest of the people who got trapped.
Did she take up a sword and die senselessly? No!
She became a blacksmith, one of the best in fact.
And then got paid by the people going to their death, so she never ever had unhappy customers.
30. Saya Takagi
Anime: Highschool of the Dead
Rarely can you describe someone as both a smart and a tough cookie, but here we are.
Saya is the brains of the group, being the first to realize how the zombies reacted and having thought of many useful strategies for the group.
She’s also the mouth of the group, as she really likes giving our gun boy Kohta a hard time.
Plus she’s shown to have a bit of a sensitive side, which just makes her more human.
29. Haruko Haruhara
Anime: FLCL (Fooly Cooly)
Well we know one thing for sure: Haruko definitely thinks that size matters, Fs in the chat boys.
Aside from that, she’s a real handful because it’s so hard to figure out what she’s thinking.
She changes her personality traits at the tip of a hat with the only constant being that she will get what she wants.
She also doesn’t seem to have much guilt for all of the things she’s done. Ice cold man, ice cold.
28. Aries
Anime: Fairy Tail
Man is she adorable or what?
Aries is so timid and nice and polite and please never make her sad.
She does have attack type spells, but I totally would not mind getting submerged in pink wool and being put to sleep… it sounds like a blessing if I am being honest.
27. Mizuki Himeji
Anime: Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts
On a lot of fronts Mizuki seems perfect, she is highly intelligent, has a heart of pure, naïve gold and generally wants what is best for you.
On the other hand, she has a sliver of yandere in her as she can get jealous quickly and can read advances as well as Stevie Wonder.
Also never eat her cooking. It’s the era of PostMates so don’t put yourself through that torture.
26. Miyuki Takara
Anime: Lucky Star
Miyuki is like an Amazon Alexa that came to life and decided to be extremely cute.
This is because she seemingly knows everything about everything, and is a walking Wikipedia.
God did have to nerf her though, so he gave her eyesight so bad that she has to pull a Velma whenever she loses her glasses.
She also has an ironically small attention span as she tends to zone out quite frequently.
25. Akira Kogami
Anime: Lucky Star
Don’t judge a book by its cute cover, I guess.
At first glance Kogami is as moe as moe gets. She has cute catch phrases, pink hair, a chipper personality, everything!
But when you get on her nerves the mask fades and you realize she has quite the mouth on her.
She does have her reasons though. The entertainment business really can burn a person out.
24. Nurse Joy
Anime: Pokémon
Everyone who grew up in the 90s or 00s had a crush on this nurse at some point.
After a long day of making you Pokémon beat each other senseless, it’s always good to feel welcomed by a warm smile.
Like no one has ever doubted whether their Pokémon was safe with her. And then there was the redesign when the Black and White series started.
I’m conflicted. My nostalgia is angry but lowkey she looks even cuter now.
23. Ai Fuyuumi
Anime: Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru
Cupid just pelted this one with arrows didn’t check.
Ai is a tsundere, so expect a lot of bottled up emotions, storming off, the occasional “bakka” with a hint of violence, you know the drill.
She also really needs love it seems.
From basically writing fanfiction of herself and her childhood friend, to her boyfriend that definitely just goes to another school, her thirst-o-meter is in the red.
22. Meroune Lorelei
Anime: Monster Musume
I have heard of video games being a bad influence. But the Little Mermaid?
Meroune, from the get-go, has some odd aspirations in life.
First it was to live the story of the Little Mermaid, even though being on land for too long can kill her.
And then it was just anything tragic.
Be it unrequited love, or her lover dying or herself dying, something just had to be sad about it.
21. Shuna
Anime: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
Man talk about a glow-up.
After being named by Rimuru Shuna went from this cute little girl to probably still under-aged but very good looking woman!
Personally, the Kijin are some of the coolest characters by design.
And Shuna being their princess makes her a notch above the rest.
She’s also very reliable, as her diplomatic skills have helped the slime kingdom many times.
20. Vanessa Enoteca
Anime: Black Clover
Vanessa is really like that the wizard world hasn’t invented breathalyzers, otherwise her flying days would be over.
Like the woman really likes her alcohol.
But hey, at least she’s always in a good mood and oddly flirtatious.
Her magic is also one of the more interesting ones, as after a certain major buff her presence on the battlefield is very noticeable.
Especially because she is extremely hard to counter.
19. Utage Douraku
Anime: My Mental Choices are Completely Interfering with my School Romantic Comedy
I have three main questions.
Why are anime titles mini paragraphs these days?
Secondly, how in the name of everything that is pure in this character “29”?
Lastly, how does such a small frame hold enough power to consistently choke people out in a matter of seconds?
Oh yeah, also she’s a teacher.
Best believe I would never miss any of her classes. I like my throat as it is.
18. Tetora
Anime: Log Horizon 2
The best kind of idol is the self-proclaimed idol that can back her claim up.
And that is Tetora.
Although she might not be all that good at singing, her charismatic personality alone more than makes up for it.
She’s very boastful, maybe even a bit arrogant, but she never pushes it too far. It always just comes off as goofy and adorable with that pink hair.
17. Benitsubasa
Anime: Sekirei
I swear it’s always the characters with the worst temper that get the biggest strength.
And not only does Benitsubasa have slight anger issues, but boy can she hold a grudge.
Musubi pissed her off once and now she’ll want a rematch for the rest of her life.
And again Benitsubasa is no joke. She will pummel you into the ground; she has no issues with breaking the rules or murder.
Yikes.
16. Mexiah Furan/Doll
Anime: Tenchi Muyo!
I guess I shouldn’t have included her Doll form here as then her hair turns green.
But who cares about Doll, she just likes to murder and such. Mexiah is where it is at. A
lthough still a bit cruel at times, definitely a step up from her Pinocchio form.
Mexiah is also quite the lady’s man. I mean woman, as we’re given a glimpse of her laying with multiple female students in bed… it all adds up.
15. Isuke Inukai
Anime: Riddle Story of Devil
I do not remember Assassination Classroom being this violent.
Isuke is one of the first assassins we see as she goes for the Mister T approach. I’m not sure if she is sneaky enough to be an affective assassin, but she definitely has the cunningness it takes.
It also helps that she really loves money. As god knows murder and Benjamins go hand and hand.
14. Dorothy Unsworth
Anime: Black Clover
Among the captains, the pinkish-purple haired Dorothy has stayed mysterious for quite some time. Seemingly always sleeping and just tagging along the other captains while unconscious.
But after her powers were revealed, this little trope made a lot more sense.
She’s a very powerful wizard and can be seemingly unbeatable if you don’t use your head.
And even with the snot bubble coming out of her nose, she’s one of the more adorable characters in the series.
13. Mine
Anime: Akame ga Kill!
You know how snipers are usually calm and collected? Mine obviously never got that memo, as she is one feisty lady.
Upon joining the Night Raid, Mine constantly teased Tatsumi as he was, what they would call in the industry, a total noob.
She has also shown to be quite jealous when anyone approaches her man.
So you know, a cute, pink-haired, easily angered, brilliant sniper? How could that ever go wrong for the general populous?
12. Ritsu
Anime: Assassination Classroom
I’m not sure if humankind would be ready for Ritsu.
If you couldn’t tell by the picture, she’s actually a brilliantly-designed machine.
And considering the show she is from, she’s less of an Alexa and more of a “Get into the chopper” kind of deal.
She’s very calculated and initially cares very little for the safety of anyone in the classroom, opting for a very upfront, fire for hours on end type of assassination.
She does get a wholesome moe update further down the line.
11. Yuno Gasai
Anime: Mirai Nikki
Be honest, you knew she would show up on this list sooner or later.
Probably one of the most recognizable yandere in the anime world, and the reason people flinch when they hear the word “yuki”. There is no denying it, Yuno coo-coo for cocoa puffs.
But she’s a very interesting character nevertheless. Being an absolute beast on the battlefield, she has inspired a lot of adoration and fear in… everyone.
10. Sakura
Anime: Naruto
Okay sure, we have all had our fun clowning on Sakura for the past decade. But she is still pretty cool!
Remember that one time she totally defeated Sasori? Or when she like cut her hair off in the Forest of Death?
But for real she does get better, especially once she becomes an adult.
Sakura seems to be one of the best role models as far as motherhood goes, and she did manage to land Sasuke by the end so she deserves at least some recognition.
9. Jibril
Anime: No Game No Life
Maybe this is just personal preference, but her game against Sora and Shiro was by far the most entertaining.
Never have I been so hyped about people sitting down and just spouting out words.
And she was a worthy adversary for sure, being shown as one of the smartest characters in the show. Aside from the tweedle smart and tweedle smarter.
She’s also probably the cutest librarian I have ever seen (in anime).
8. Mina Ashido
Anime: Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia)
Mina is definitely the coolest of class 1A.
She has some sick dance moves, is usually pretty laid back, and seems to get on with everyone!
Her quirk allows her to excrete acid, not the trippy kind, the Raiders of the Last Ark kind, which gives her good offensive capabilities as well as some sick mobility. Above all she has the heart of a hero, as even at a young age she was courageous. And she was one of the few bystanders to approach Mister Metalica.
7. Euphemia li Britannia
Anime: Code Geass
Nunnally is definitely the kind one, but Euphemia is by far the more proactive one in the family.
Okay she’s not Lelouch proactive, but she is up there!
Wanting to put an end to discrimination, she battles for the throne and takes our second best boy Suzaku to be her knight.
She has shown courage multiple times and a general concern for her people.
Above all, she gave out one of the cutest orders ever to befall a knight when Suzaku found himself in some hot water.
6. Zero Two
Anime: Darling in the FranXX
As far as character introductions go, Zero two definitely had a memorable one.
Jumping out of the water completely nude and with a fish in her mouth, like some type of a beautiful mermaid.
She makes for a lot of the aww moments of the show, while simultaneously bringing some badassery to the table. She goes a bit Gurren Lagann by the end, but her and Hiro’s love never faltered.
And I will forever roll my r’s saying darling.
5. Lucy
Anime: Elfen Lied
Like I said in the beginning of this article, pink-haired girls are always somehow either extremely adorable or extremely terrifying.
After losing her memory and altering between Nyu and Lucy, this character is both.
The childlike nature of Nyu is something like a very cuddable kitten, while Lucy strikes fear into the hearts of… anyone with eyes and a will to live.
Like have you seen the first episode? The facilities she was kept in ended up looking like a minced meat storage unit after she was done with it.
4. Trish Una
Anime: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind
One word comes to mind when looking at Trish: spunk. True, at first she was very much on the bratty side, demanding only the best and priciest things to be brought before her.
But then some severe daddy issues kicked in; and “issues” is not a strong enough word honestly.
From that point on she becomes a bit more down to earth, assertive, and helpful.
She even awakens her Stand, which by the way was named after the spiciest senoritas known to man.
3. Nonon Jakuzure
Anime: Kill la Kill
Being one of the elites as well as being the closest to Satsuki, you can already guess how powerful Miss Double Negative is.
With the power of her Goku uniform and the power of music, she’ll make sure all of her enemies are defeated over a sweet melody.
She makes up for her tiny size with the most extra hat on the market, and can usually be found insulting one of the other elites.
2. Mitsuri Kanroj
Anime: Demon Slayer
Ah my heart, the dandere is so strong with this one! Although we have seen little of her, it’s safe to say that she is waifu material.
Mitsuri really lives up to the name of Love Hashira as she seemingly loves everyone and everything.
She compliments anything she sees, no matter how trivial, although she only uses her inside voice for this praise. Naturally
And you already know that once we see her in combat she is going to blow us all away.
1. Morgiana
Anime: Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic
Morgiana fills that “badass girl with a heart of gold” void that we all have in our lives.
Being cold at first, which is to be expected considering the chains around her legs, she slowly becomes more moe as the show goes on.
She never loses her badass nature though.
Whenever the cards are down and it’s time to fight, you can see her jumping into the fray, blowing people away with her powerful kicks and leaving some third degree burns later on. A memorable girl for sure.
