Location In the Vermilion City Gym after defeating Lt. Surge.
Description The Pokémon deals damage to the target and then switches with a waiting Pokémon.

To acquire TM092 Volt Switch you have to defeat Lt. Surge at the Vermilion City Gym. Since this is a mandatory gym battle you’ll get this TM as part of the natural game storyline.

One thing to note, however, is that the entrance to the gym will be blocked by a small tree. Therefore you’ll have to use HM01 Cut if you want to get access to it.
