Fieldcraft Demimateria III is obtained by desynthesizing certain pieces of gear. Take note, however, that a successful desynthesis will not always yield demimateria.

You can also acquire Fieldcraft Demiateria III by purchasing them with White Crafters’ Scrips or trading them with other crafted items.

This item is used mainly to craft several different pieces of crafter equipment. You can also trade them in for Supra tools used by Disciples of the Land.

Desynthesizing for Demimateria

Desynthesis is a feature in FFXIV that allows crafters to break down items into smaller components. It is unlocked by completing the side quest “Gone to Pieces”.

This quest becomes available from Syntgoht in Ul’dah – Steps of Thal (X:13.1, Y:10.1) after hitting level 30 on any Disciple of the Hand class and completing the level 19 Main Scenario Quest “Life, Materia and Everything”.

There are many types of demimateria that can be obtained through desynthesis depending on what type of item you break down.

Fieldcraft Demimateria can be acquired from desynthesizing several pieces of:

  • Crafter equipment, and
  • Furnishing items

One item that is commonly desynthesized for Fieldcraft Demimateria is the Bridesmaid Sandals. These can be purchased from Rianne in Ul’dah – Steps of Nald (X:9.9, Y:9.1) for 6000 gil each.

Custom Deliveries is also unlocked separately, with each NPC having their own quest requirement.
