Butterfrite in Pokémon Radical Red

From the Pewter City Pokémon Center, start by heading South.
Continue following the path South, leaving Pewter City, and entering Route 2.
On the way down you’ll walk past some tall grass and eventually enter a gate connector.
Inside the connector, go straight down to exit from the other side and enter Viridian Forest.
Now, follow the only path in front of you which leads South.
Eventually, you’ll come across a brown sign after which you’ll have the choice to either go North or South. Go South, through all of the tall grass.
After getting past the tall grass follow the path going West.
You’ll shortly come across some smashable rocks. Use Rock Smash on any one of them and continue on the path West.
When you see the raid den, take it as your sign to go South.
Continue going South until the path gets blocked by trees. When it does, start going West.
You’ll find the Butterfrite on the ground in a small opening at the far end of this path.
