Charizardite Y
Location In the Cinnabar Island Gym. Given to you by Blaine after defeating him and showing him a Pokemon with 150 EVs in special attack. Replaced with the Charizardite X in hardcore mode.
Prerequisites
  • Access to Cinnabar Island
  • Have a Pokemon with 150 EVs in special attack
Mega Evolution Mega Charizard Y

To acquire the Charizardite Y, you have to defeat Blaine first. If the door to the Cinnabar Island Gym is locked then you’ll have to first head inside the Pokémon Mansion and acquire the secret key to open the door.

Once you’ve acquired the secret key, simply walk inside the Cinnabar Island Gym and challenge Blaine to a battle.

After defeating Blaine, speak with him again while having a Pokémon with 150 EVs in special attack in your team and he’ll give you the Charizardite Y.
