Latiasite in Pokémon Radical Red

Latiasite
Location Given to you by a scientist in the Cinnabar Island Pokémon Lab after showing him a Latias.
Prerequisites
  • Have all eight badges
  • Have Latias
Mega Evolution Mega Latias

After collecting all eight gym badges, start heading towards Route 23 from Viridian City, and one of Oak’s assistants will stop you to tell you that legendary Pokémon are roaming the wild.

This is when you can start finding Latias to capture it & eventually acquire its mega stone.

By opening the map, you’ll see the location of several legendary Pokémon. When you’re on the same route as a legendary Pokémon, you can encounter it by walking on tall grass.

Track down Latias and catch it.

After catching Latias, enter the Pokémon Lab to the left of the Cinnabar Island Pokémon Center.

Start going right after entering the lab.

Enter the room in the far right corner of the lab here.

Speak with the scientist standing in front of you (left side of the table).

When prompted to, show him the Latias on your team and he’ll give you the Latiasite.
