Location Given by Brendan after defeating him on Route 23.
Prerequisites
  • Access to Viridian City
  • Have Surf
  • Have all eight gym badges
Mega Evolution Mega Sceptile

From outside of the Viridian City Pokémon Center, follow the path left of the Pokémon Center.

While going North on the path, take the first turn left and follow the path as you leave the city and enter Route 22.

Walk through the tall grass to get to the North path and then continue going West.

You’ll eventually come across a connector that you want to enter.

Inside of the connector, simply walk North to exit from the other side and reach Route 23.

Now, you want to follow the path that leads to the Victory Road entrance. On the way you’ll have to walk past guards who will ensure that you have all of the required gym badges.

You’ll eventually reach the entrance to Victory Road.

Before you’re able to enter, Brendan will stop you and challenge you to one last battle before you challenge the Elite Four. Brendan will give you the Sceptilite after you defeat him.
