Location Upper floor of the lower gate connector on Route 16. Speak with the scientist NPC and show him a Venusaur.
Prerequisites
  • Access to Celadon City
  • Have a Venusaur
Mega Evolution Mega Venusaur

Starting outside of the Celadon City Pokémon Center, head left to cross the city.

Continue going left until you reach the far end of the city. Walk out of Celadon City and enter Route 16 by taking the path at the bottom-left.

Keep going left and you’ll see the entrance to the connector leading to Bicycle Road. If a Snorlax is blocking the path then you’ll need the Poké Flute to wake him up first.

Inside the gate connector, take the stairs to head upstairs.

Speak with the scientist here. Show him a Venusaur in your party to get the Venusaurite mega stone.

  • Found in the Route 13 grass (day)
  • You can give a green shard to the old man NPC in the Celadon City Pokémon Mansion’s ground floor for a random grass-type starter Pokémon’s egg.
