They can also be bought from the Unrecorded History AP Exchange Shop here.
But in the table below we’ve listed every stage you can farm for this material:

Events are another great source of Shiny Enchantments, as Rare Catalysts can often be exchanged for event currencies or obtained as clear rewards.
The Guild Member Shop and the Guild Aid system also allow you to farm lots of Rare Catalysts in general via Donation requests or Catalyst Chest purchases.
Source #1: Unrecorded History Stage 15. Silver Monarch Hall (Best Source)
Farming Stage 15. Silver Monarch Hall of the Epilogue (Unrecorded History) chapter in the Side Story missions will be your best bet if you want to farm some Shiny Enchantments.
You can only get two other Catalysts as drops in this stage, which raises the chances that you’ll get Shiny Enchantments every time you clear the stage.
I suggest bringing Pets that allow you to gain more Adventure Points per stage cleared, which you can then spend in the Side Story AP Exchange Shop for Shiny Enchantments.
The Unrecorded History AP Shop is by far the most consistent source of both Rare and Epic Catalysts, but only if you’ve farmed enough AP from Unrecorded History stages to buy them.
You can buy up to 20 Shiny Enchantments per week for 120 AP each. Don’t overspend your AP and only buy the Shiny Enchantments you need before the stock resets every weekend.
Source #2: Side Story Events
Events are another great way to farm not just Catalysts, but also all kinds of precious resources like Skystones, Gold, and Molagora.
Of course, the amount of Catalysts you can farm through events is no joke either. This is why you should always play them as much as you can!
You can get Catalysts like Shiny Enchantments either as clear rewards, reputation rewards, and most notably, as purchasable items in the Event Exchange Shop.
Some Pets boost the acquisition rate of Event Currencies, so make sure to bring them along to make the grind more efficient.
Note: As of Patch 01/26/23, you can now play any Side Story Event you want as long as you’ve already unlocked them.
To unlock Side Story Event Missions, all you need to do is clear Adventure Mode stages. You can only play one Side Story Event at a time.
Choosing or replacing a Side Story requires an item called “Change Ticket”. You are given a Change Ticket once every two weeks.
Source #3: Guild Member Shop
If you’re an active player and Guild member, then buying Rare Catalyst Chests from the Guild Member Shop should be no problem for you.
Here, you can buy Rare Catalyst Chests and Catalyst Chests (Epic & Rare) in exchange for Guild Currencies.
Just remember: Catalyst Chests that can be bought in the Guild Member Shop can only give you random Catalysts every time you open them.
Staying active by playing all kinds of game modes and completing certain tasks is all you need to do to accumulate enough Guild Currencies to buy these Catalyst Chests every week.
However, the most important thing for any player to do is to donate every single day to your Guild so you can get as many Guild Currencies as you can.
Source #4: Guild Aid
Using Guild Aid, you can request any kind of Rare Catalyst from your Guildmates. This also includes Shiny Enchantments — as seen in the screenshot above.
But you can only request two Rare Catalysts at most every day, so try to make the most of it whenever the game clock resets.
Try to ask for permission first before requesting Catalysts. Rare Catalysts are still quite valuable and requesting them as Aid may even be seen as a rule violation by some of the stricter Guilds.
In case you still plan on requesting Catalysts through the Guild Aid, try to Donate your excess Catalysts as well.
