Whether your Sim is a hardcore social drinker or a bona fide bar hopper, I’m sure the need to put them in a couple drunken poses will eventually arise.

Especially if you’re a story-based Simmer.

So I gathered a handful of my favorite Sims 4 drinking poses and cobbled together this collection for all you simmers out there.

From casual drinking to full-blown, alcohol-fueled sobfests, there’s a pose pack in here for almost any occasion.

For those nights when your Sim just needs a bottle (or two) to cope, blakegodsims has an incredibly emotional pose set that perfectly fits.

It contains four solo poses for one incredibly overwhelmed Sim downing what looks to be a liter of alcohol.

Honestly, the raw emotions in this pack are pretty freaking spectacular.

Poses 3 and 4, especially.

You can practically feel the weight on their shoulders as they slump against the couch—or in my case, the bed.

Both pieces of furniture work fine!

By the way, the creator links a different bottle accessory in the description – so don’t be surprised by the size difference in-game.

This here posepack has the same concept and vibe as blakegodsims’s To Drown My Sorrows set.

Only this time, the Sim in question has chosen to collapse in a chair.

There are four poses in this one – and they all depict varying stages of drinking alone; the contemplative stage, the chugging stage, the will-it-ever-get-better stage…

You get the picture.

If this pack hits a little too close to (your Sim’s) home, then 10/10 would recommend you download.

The quality’s great and the expressions are pretty decent.

Just don’t forget to download a beer bottle accessory for the poses to make sense!

I don’t think the creator linked any in their description, but soloriya’s Bottle Accessory should work well here.

You know the disenfranchised teens/young adults stereotype?

The ones who just sort of drift through life, only coming alive when they meet up with their friends to drink, smoke, and do dumb stunts after dark?

Yeah, that stereotype is this pack’s whole concept, and it’s beautiful. I love it.

The carefree, lighthearted expressions, the semi-drunken stumbling around, the casual conversations … it’s a vibe that I am very much into, so please excuse the slightly biased review.

Don’t worry, though; these poses are great quality.

Plus all the accessories you need to make the pics work are linked in the description.

Yes, shall we?

More pose sets for casual drinking nights!

And honestly? I’m a fan.

Don’t get me wrong – I love drunken dramatic misery (in my Sims) as much as the next person.

But there’s just something about spontaneous, carefree drinking sessions that feel so wholesome.

Especially when it’s a night in and you’re just trying to have a good time with your besties.

Avolfram’s pose pack captures this vibe perfectly. I can appreciate how relaxed the whole thing feels (and the quality of the poses, of course).

The preview photos use Female rigs, but I found the poses work just fine for Male models, too.

5. Drunk Poses (Single) by Akuiyumi

This is honestly one of my favorite sets from this list.

It’s based off of the same idea as some of the other solo drinking packs (like To Drown My Sorrows), but it plays it out a little differently.

So there are 20 poses, to start with, and they’re all some variation of a Sim drinking themselves into a clumsy, drunken, judgment-impaired stupor.

Seriously, there is a lot of creativity in being able to think up a dozen different poses for one event – never mind 20.

If you use all the poses in order, it depicts a Sim’s night getting progressively worse.

The kind of night where they start on the counter and end up on the floor, basically.

I thought this concept was really cute and really novel. And I love how the creator executed it.

Highly recommend you give it a try!

6. Drinking Stand Poses by Natalia-Auditore

I’ve filled up this list with copious amounts of beer, whiskey, and drunken Sim shenanigans. So I’m going to insert something a little tamer and a little classier here.

Just to balance things out.

These Drinking Stand poses by Natalia-Auditore are pretty self-explanatory.

You have a Sim (Male, based on the rig—and a Vampire too!) drinking wine all polished-like from a proper wineglass.

And gesticulating quite passionately, from the looks of it… but hey. Who’s judging?

These poses could be Unisex (I didn’t try them to be sure), but no sweat if they’re not.

The creator also made a version using a Female rig too – for that set, check out the Drinking Wine Female Posepack by the same creator.

The poses are a bit different with this female set (a little more saucy and feminine, I’d say). But the concept – and quality! – are totally the same.

7. The Happy Drunks Pose Pack by joannebernice

Let me preface this review by stating that the name of this posepack is a hundred percent accurate.

The Happy Drunks, indeed.

The poses perfectly depict a nice, fun, lighthearted night at the bar with close friends.

There are a couple of group shots – my favorite being the one where they all clink their glasses.

And there’s a few couples poses too – notably the ones canoodling on the couch – along with several solo shots that you could mix and match to create a bigger scene.

It’s all incredibly versatile, and the expressions match the tone very well.

No stress, no drama, no alcohol-flavored heaviness.

Just some social drinking and a lot of typical night-out-with-friends scenarios.

Only accessories you need are a beer bottle (linked in the description) and lots of bar stools.

Why the long face, bro?

Sim_plyreality gifts us a pose pack for when your Sim’s Bro friend is down in the dumps, and I think it’s a great set.

The concept’s pretty novel, the execution is excellent, and the poses quite clearly progress through a story as you go along.

You’ve got a Sim who is visibly upset and trying to drown their sorrows in a few drinks.

Then their friends walk in, notices their distress, and start clowning around to cheer them up. They get their own drinks, too (probably so they can stay for the details).

I might be looking too much into it at this point. But it’s a really well-made pack with poses that are versatile enough to fit a couple different stories.

9. Pour Me Another One by andromeda-sims

So this pose pack by andromeda-sims is a very humble & very aesthetic illustration of quiet love stories intertwined with bars and bottles.

Take out the waxing poetic and it’s basically a set of poses for couples who want to cuddle and act cute at the bar.

Unfortunately, there aren’t that many preview photos from the creator since they deleted their old blog. So just trust me when I say that it’s every bit as affectionate and romantic as most couples-based poses out there.

Yes, even with the bar setting.

When you get to the download page (linked above), look for item #13.

Since the original post no longer exists, it’s hard to tell exactly what accessories you need. I used soloriya’s Bottle Accessory (again) and the glasses from Mel Bennett’s Whiskey Collection.

10. Party Night Poses by ByanxhLove

Is any night out with friends complete without some tasteful photos for the socials?

Didn’t think so.

I’m wrapping up this list with some fun group poses for a bunch of friends.

There are three in total, all group shots, but each with different accommodations.

One is for three Sims, another for four, and the pose featuring the most is for six Sims.

That last one needs a counter or island to make sense, by the way. And a couple beer bottle accessories, but I think that was a given.

The creator doesn’t really have any guidelines for how to place the Sims for the six-unit pose, but I found that placing six teleporters in the same spot – which is right in the middle of the bar – seemed to do the trick.
